011 ∫ Flying helps with the grief...
Characters: James Potter and YOU
Location: The plaza
Time: Afternoon
Style: Any
Status: Open
With Lily upset over what she left behind, Shin trying to put on a brave face for losing Sirius, and James knowing where his best friend had gone back to, the Marauders House was the most depressing place in the bubble right now. So James had, once again, sneaked out a broomstick and tried to clear his head the way he would have done back home.

And he didn't need a broomstick to do it, it's for that reason that he slows and halts in midair to watch James flying curiously. He knew magic existed--but he'd never seen someone using it to fly like that before.

"Hey." Nasuti remained subdued in her greeting to James. "How's everyone holding up?"
Not that she wasn't troubled by it, too. Sirius was one of the first people kind to her upon her arrival here. She would miss him, too.
I-I couldn't resist
He wandered around for a bit-staying clear of the edge of town and found himself at the plaza. He leans against one of the buildings and by chance looks up-... someone is on a broomstick. Great.

“…You can fly.”
(Just a quiet observation.)

As well as can be expected, I suppose.

"I haven't had a chance to see Shin, I..." She cast her eyes to the side, her brow furrowing slightly. "I'm sorry about that, but...Touma's been keeping after him well, I think."

That was why he caught sight of James flying around from his spot on the rooftop. Shin was busying himself with Sirius's motorcycle - polishing the metal, checking the fluids, and generally inspecting the bike as best he knew how from watching Sirius do it.
He did, however, spare a smile at the sight of James in what Shin believed to be his favorite seat in the whole world.
Sorry about the style change
"Thanks, Nasuti."
No problem!

"Um...yeah."

"Hey."
He didn't really know what to say. Sirius was his friend, but he'd be Shin's boyfriend.

He gestured back to the bike. "I hope you don't mind. I'm..." His face was neutral. "I'm not sure what else I should be doing right now."

“It isn’t every day you meet someone who can. At least…I certainly do not.”
A pause. And then she figures she may as well ask:
“What is your name?”
It's ok! I do it all the time. XD;;;
"If you ever need a change of scenery, my door is always open. Any of you."
l-lol okay

In that pause he almost flew again but waited and heard the question.
"James Potter. Yourself?"

The best she could do was find out second-hand. "He's quiet, but usually not this much."
no subject
"Not bad." He comments with a shrug. "I take it you're also a fan of diving off high places in order clear your head?"

She notices that he’s so ready to leave. So soon after they’d met, too—a bit rude. She could probably find a lot of questions to ask about a world where flying is normal; but he looks like he has more important things to worry about, so she doesn’t follow through on that.
“I hadn’t realized you were in a hurry.”

She shrugs as well, consumed by silence for a moment because she isn’t quite sure what to say to that. She is hardly the champion of dealing with her problems, either, but—well, it would probably be rude to leave him hanging.
“Though I was under the impression that running away from your problems often makes them worse.”

She folds her arms, attentive as if she were being treated to a show.
What kind of trick would he do next?

Perhaps she scares easily. She is just a little girl, in the end, even though she thinks she's a bit more than that. But when he rushes down at her, her heart races, leaning back and ready to run before he pulls up again. She's breathing heavily as she continues to watch him, trying to steady herself once more.
He wouldn't hear her if she said anything about this, of course, but there's a bit of a smirk on her face.
It looks a bit forced, though, and it's hard to tell whether she truly enjoyed that little stunt or not. But either way, she's intrigued.
