You're walking taller than you should
Characters: Fox, open
Location: Plaza
Time: Midday. Or any time, really.
Style: Any
Status: Open
All right, he would admit it. The time he had spent in this city felt something like a vacation. Sure, he had to settle in. Get used to the idea of whatever controlled this place not doing things according to his schedule. See that it wasn’t—for the most part—hostile. But after everything sank in, his days were full of sleeping late and no obligations.
Fox did have his limits, though. And he could feel them edging up. The closest things to interests that he’d picked up were watching the plaza for new arrivals, and just exploring the city in general. The former felt hopeless, but he was less keen on the latter until he had a little more distance from the craziness that was the last week. So here he was, not really watching for newcomers so much as wandering the plaza. This was easily the part of the city that he knew the best, almost as well as his own apartment. Heck, those first few days he’d practically lived here.
. . . yeah. He needed a hobby.
Some people found jobs, he knew. But Fox wasn’t so far gone that he was ready to resort to that out of mere boredom. Would he be though? There was a bitter thought . . .

[Her tone is teasing, she only means well, even if she's can tell that the air around them is wavering on awkward. She doesn't want it to be like that, though.]

[He looks to the side and scratches his neck. Was there a better place that this meeting could even go?]

Good, I wouldn't have wanted to come here and seen that you were getting yourself into trouble.

So, uh...

Hm?
[Okay Fox, stop being awkward.]

[What. What was he saying.]

[Ahah...hah.]
Maybe take a walk about the park, or relax in one of the cafes?

[The bags that she had almost forgotten about were not to be forgotten any longer, she reaches down and grabs them.]
For now, I must depart, I still have some shopping to do before I head back to my apartment.
[Before she actually does leave, she says one last thing to him.]
You know how to reach me when you're ready. I have such a flexible schedule as of late.

[What just happened. Something was definitely odd, but he couldn't quite place it. It seemed that he was going to be getting the opportunity to figure it out, though...]
