He had promised he'd be knocking shortly and Canada hadn't been exaggerating. Shortly after sending that last text message to Jack, he was politely knocking - lightly given the hour of night - and then checking to see if the door was unlocked so he could slip in if needed. "I- I hope I didn't wake you..." It was a polite quiet apology given the fact that he knew he risked that he had initially texted Jack at such a late hour.

"Not at all, you should know by now I'm awake at odd hours." Jack had already prepared tea and everything; it was because he was ready to talk to Canada. He had already missed his dear friend so much.

Perhaps this time if he could convince Canada to stay, he would permanently stay- though he knew it was unlikely. His friend was someone who didn't like to settle, and he was quite alright with that.

"How many sugars in your tea?"

Even so, he still couldn't help but look a little bit apologetic about the whole thing. ...still. The tea would definitely be nice. He actually hadn't had a decent cup in a while since he usually tended to fix himself coffee (or hot chocolate).

"Two please." To start with. He could always add more, after all. "How have you been?" There was a light smile as he spoke and then a slight pause as he looked a bit unsure for just a moment.

Turns out he couldn't resist, anyway. He couldn't help but hug Jack and offer a muffled 'thanks.'

"Well. How about yourself Matthew?" He strained the tea and poured it into a little teacup. Yes, this china was a good buy for him. He stirs in two sugarcubes for Matthew, three for himself. He quite enjoyed his extra sweetened.

He shuffled a little, to engulf the other in his long sleeves. He had kept the past curses jacket, green with long sleeves. His favorite style as well. It's like Vatheon was reading his mind or something!

"I've missed you. This house is so empty."

"I'm glad to hear that." A large smile accompanied his words as he hugged Jack tight, still not quite letting go yet. That would come in a few minutes or so. "I've been well enough, I would suppose." All things considered. People were coming and going and at least the curse was over. Though it didn't seem too bad when compared to some.

"I think I might be able to remedy that." It was a genuine statement, too, and not just him being nice (since he was always nice). "Kuma misses you, too."

When didn't people come and go in Vatheon? It was a sad fact in life. Jack was still getting used to Alice being gone, even if it had been months. He supposes one doesn't just simply get over the one they had an attraction to. "You suppose?" He laughs. "I spoke with America before his departure, he was giving me some awesome advice about Valentine's day." Also, called him bropunzel.

"You would?" For what, the sixth time now? Jack wouldn't deny Matthew coming back into his home now, he never ever would! "Kuma, too? I've missed Kuma as well."

"I hate that he keeps showing up and leaving. Sometimes I feel like Vatheon is just being mean to me." There was a tiny pout as he sighed softly, shaking his head. Which, really, bothered him more than he was going to admit since he'd just toss the the old 'well people come and go all the time and it's better that they're home' routine.

"I would. And Kuma as well." And this time, he would promise to try and not move out any time soon. If he felt like he was becoming too intrusive or anything like that, then he'd mention it instead of just assuming. Or at least he was hoping to. ...not that he planned on moving out again, anyway.

There was a bit of a pause before he backtracked in conversation a bit. "So what sort of advice did you receive?"
