Who: Rue & Matthew
Where: Whenever,
When: Whenever,
Style: WE'LL ALWAYS BE TOGE-- I mean, uh, first.
Status: Closed kalsjds (going to make an open post for her one day, I swear guys)
[Rue's isn't all that worried about the state of Vatheon as it is at the moment. She's used to fairytale settings (although this is considerably different from Gold Crown); and judging by her light browsing through the SFC network, people are already working to correct things, so she finds herself without any need to lift a finger.
She has far more pressing matters on her mind, as she walks through the city; and she's got her SFC in her hand, wondering where his name went.
Mytho...
Siegfried.
He hadnt been in his room either, and she thinks she should probably tell Ahiru.
She finds herself staring at her name too, however, and...simply doesn't hit the call button. Not yet.]

Whoops.
He doesn't actually seem affected by the curse either, but--]
Ha! It's good to see someone else not affected by this insanity.
[1/2]
[2/2]
It's him. Way to make her almost drop her SFC.]
Matthew. H-Hello.
no subject
Hello, Rue. How are you holding up?
no subject
[She looks around. The changes Vatheon has undergone for this curse are hard to ignore, even for those unaffected, like them.]
I...
I am looking for someone.
no subject
[He pauses, glancing around the mess that is now Vatheon.]
...Heh. Do you need any help? I don't really have anything better to do.
no subject
[She frowns. Though somewhere inside her, she appreciates the offer.]
His name...no longer appears on the network.
[1/2]
He knows that one.]
[2/2]
Then you're wasting your time out here, you know.
no subject
[She bites her lip.
And then sighs as well.]
Yes, I...am aware.
no subject
...So who was it then?
no subject
[...No. That isn't right. That isn't his true name, is it?]
Prince Siegfried...
no subject
Your prince? And here I'd thought you weren't affected by these fairy tales.
no subject
[It has been a while since shes thought of her life before Vatheon. It is almost hard to believe, that she was once the princess in a story; helping Drosselmeyer create a tragic, yet beautiful end.
...For Princess Tutu. Because a fairy tale has no need for two princesses. And perhaps that still holds true here.
Now, she is just another resident.]
No...I am still in my right mind, if that's what you're concerned about.
no subject
She only said she wasn't affected by the curse.
Ah, that's interesting. Matthew tucks his hands behind his back and thinks.]
So...your life was a fairy tale before this ever happened, then?
no subject
This isn't something Rue goes around announcing to the world; if only because she doesn't think it's noteworthy enough. Not necessarily out of some sort of malicious intent to hide things.
She simply tilts her head, a bit of a smile--or maybe a smirk, on her face.]
...Is that strange?
no subject
It's a bit out of the ordinary.
So if you've got a prince, are you the princess, or the commoner looking to be one?
no subject
And if this had been a few months ago, she may have said just that...but as she is now, she simply averts her gaze for the moment.]
I am his princess...yes. He told me so himself.
...Though it hardly matters at the moment.
no subject
You are the prince's princess. I see.
And why doesn't it matter? I find these things are usually very important!
no subject
[That's what she meant, really; though she can probably agree that it's important for people to know. All she's ever wanted is to be loved by him, after all; and only recently did she start to realize that she already was]
I'm not sure what to do now. [sigh.] Apparently, there are other princesses that need rescuing.
no subject
It's a gamble with a place like this.
[A tiiiilt of his head.]
Do you really want to?
no subject
There is no way to know whether the same thing will happen here, but she has to hope.
And at the question, she simply shakes her head. Perhaps it is selfish of her, but...]
No...not in particular.
no subject
[He laughs cheerfully, shaking his head.]
And come with me instead. I know of a solution to at least some of your problems.
no subject
[Now shes the one tilting her head; her curiosity for the moment taking over her sadness.]
But, where will we go?
no subject
Just follow me then.
[And he reaches for her hand without an regards for personal space, towing her forward.]
