[ Duke is out at the park today, tossing a ring for the dogs that Ioder left with Dhaos and him.

The bubble floats above his head, only most of the time... its a murky purple black color. A bit like one of those depressing rainclouds. Occasionally, it moves like its a swirling of fluid down a drain, only for Duke to grimace and stare intently at the dogs and one of them takes the place of the doom-and-gloom look.

Only it repeats. After a little while, the darkness fills the bubble again, and eventually a drain. The dogs will fill in the bubble eventually, but... for now he's a little stuck looking. And also looks like he hasn't been sleeping well or properly, but that's Duke for you. ]

[ The other goes rushing by after a moment, chasing a ring. The other direction clearly holds the owner, but hey.

That sure is some pets being given.

Here is the second dog, ring in mouth, tail wagging. Going to give some love here too? ]

[Hubert can't help but chuckle quietly at their antics. They're obviously energetic, but aside from wandering away from their own, fairly well behaved for being so young.]

[ Hello stranger are you going to play with them too? Because playing. that should be a thing.

Look, this ring should totally be chucked for them. C'mon, c'mon!


It will take some time before Duke moves to look for the dogs. Awkwardly lurking. ]

[Hubert actually smiles, taking the ring and straightening so he can give it a good toss across the grass.]

[ A rare Hubert Smile.

The dogs are most pleased by this toss, by the excited yips and tail wagging fit to make them fly.

They end up both grabbing the ring, and on the way back, they seem to spot that elusive owner - or at least, Iona does, as Ico is still running toward Hubert. Tug of war between dogs ensues. ]

[ Gasp! Hubert finds things adorable!

The dogs continue with tug-of-war for a little while, before they half turn and whine at him, still tugging a little. One wants to go one way, while the other wants to return to the new friend. ]

Here, I can throw it again.

The puppies race off to catch and return with the ring.

If Hubert looks about again, Duke is probably visible at this point. ]
