gigglesnortpriestess: (dream of me)

[Closed] And if I claim sanctuary will you turn me away?

Who: Sentai heroes and some girl (IT group)
What: Yukiko is trying to find a safe place to stay for the night. She just happened to stumble on a superhero group's hideout.
When: Thursday night
Where: Sentai HQ (formely the agency)
Status: Closed
Style: Either or.

It's been a few days since Yukiko ran into that odd girl who claimed that she wanted to help her with her powers. She didn't give her a chance to explain and ran as fast as her legs could carry her. It also didn't help that she didn't have any money after the last couple of dollars for that sandwich at some cafe so a place to sleep such as a hotel was out of the question. That and someone might see her lose control of her power which is not a good thing for her. Hell, she didn't know any good places to get some rest...

Until she noticed someone's back door was open.

It was their own fault for keeping it open anyway because any stranger could sneak in, go to the nearest soft cover like a couch, and go straight to sleep. Like what she just did.

One of these days, he was going to remember that they had a back door, and he would remember to check if said door was locked so he didn't have to go running downstairs in his PJs. Yu looked exceptionally frumpy that night, exhausted from a hard day's work of maintaining their secret hide out and fighting their opposition. He might have even skipped over the girl entirely if he didn't need to pass by that couch to get to the back door.

What.

He paused a moment, trying to decide if she was an ally or and enemy. After a moment, it seemed as if everything were okayy, seeing as nothing exploded right awak.

Kanji had only been a few steps behind his older friend, folding chair in hand to use as a "weapon" against their invader. If it was a normal citizen, they didn't need to know about his super strength and lighting-based powers. If it was a villain that'd followed them home, the chair would serve as a lovely conductor for his powers.

Yep, he sure did spot the pretty girl sleeping on the couch. "Er, Senpai, I know we locked the doors, so how's she get in here?"

"It's because we didn't lock all of the doors," came Naoto's voice from a nearby table.

She hadn't gone to sleep yet and was still very much in her clothes from the day. She had been working on fixing and enhancing some of their equipment when the girl had come in. She stayed quiet to observe her. When she'd made enough observations to know she meant no harm, she had gone back to work. Of course she didn't completely let her guard down, just in case.

"It seems she's been on the run for a while. A few days perhaps by the look of it."

He was pretty sure that was his fault; or at least, he didn't want to blame Kanji when he wasn't entirely sure himself, so he was fine with the blame. Yu reached up, rubbing the back of his neck, before kneeling down beside the girl, a little curious; was it his imagination, or did she look familiar...?

...nah, he was sure he never saw her before.

"She should be fine here; the least we can do is offer her shelter when she wakes up."

Kanji just sighed and found a blanket to cover the strange girl up with. Now that he had the opportunity to look at her, her clothes were pretty well...lived-in and everything about her made him feel the intense desire to protect her. "I guess she ain't hurtin' nobody sleepin' on the couch." He looked at his two friends.

"Naoto, it might be best to let her borrow some of your clothes for when she wakes up so we can burn the ones she's in. Yu-senpai and I are too big for anythin' we give her to not look like a tent." He scratched at the back of his neck. "If...if you don't mind, that is."

Naoto looked at the girl. She had noticed the look of recognition from the oldest of them and gave a small nod. However when she heard Kanji's request she flinched a little.

"I'm not sure if anything I have will fit her," she told their "strong man" member, "She seems to be larger than me."

Moving over to Yu, she knelt down and looked at the girl again. She spoke softly. "You felt it too, didn't you? Something feels familiar about her."
linefacingforever: (That did not just happen...)

"Larger" than her? Who was Naoto kidding; they all knew there was more under that shirt than she let on.

...oh, wait, she meant height. Riiiiight; he knew that.

"She can borrow one of my shirts until we can find something in her size," Yu replied, having trouble looking away from her. He moved to reach out, but held back as Naoto knelt beside him. For a moment he didn't move, before he gave a slight nod.

At Naoto's comment, Kanji took another look at the girl he'd covered. He felt like he should know her. Like he did know her.

"She, uh, she reminds me of someone, but I can't figure out who. Is that what you meant?"

Naoto's eyes went wide as the plushies began to fly. This was certainly something surprising. This girl... She had seen the connection automatically and could only assume their leader had too. She was lucky the tools hadn't been targeted, they all were.

"What in the world..." she muttered
