A good old game of volleyball

Who: Minako Aino and Open to all who want to join in.
Where: The island, the beach
When: July 13th
What: Minako sets up a game of beach volleyball and hopes people will join her.
Style: Any is fine.

[Minako smiled as she had finished drawing lines in the beach, her nice little game of volleyball was slowly, but surely getting underway, but the thing she lacked and the thing that was so needed was two teams to be able to actually play the game. So, sitting down on the edge, leaning back and trying to at least catch some sun, she waits and hoped that someone, anyone would come and enjoy themselves here.]

[She pauses to think about it for a moment. It certainly would be an interesting challenge and one that could in a sense test her ability to still play the game and play it well. So with a firm nod she stood up.]

Sure, why not. it might be fun.

[With a smile on her face and looking back at the pokemon, she gave a cheer!]

Okay then! Let's see here...there's you and me...and 6 other pokemon...

[Now she's thinking who would be able to make a good team. Hm...]

You there! You two come with me!

[When Mienshao and Simisage went over to her, the rest of the pokemon just gave her and Minako a glare. "WHAT ABOUT THE REST OF US?!"]

[Well since Minako wasn't exactly sure what to do, the glaring just made her that tiny bit nervous.]

Looks like you know what you're doing. I have no idea myself.

[Don't mind them, they're just teasing. However once the two pokemon made their way over to Bianca, she smiled at them.]

Okay, I think we're set! We're ready whenever you are!

[Oh, it meant she was ready. Okay, this really shouldn't be hard. Well that was just what she hoped, but she knew deep down it would be. Getting into position, she threw the ball up, hitting it as it came down and sent it thankfully over the net. Now all she had to do was move about and wait for the ball to come back.]

[Luckily, her Pokemon had the basic idea of how to play volleyball. The problem was not hitting it too hard. So when Minako was sending the ball their way, Emboar was trying to hit the ball as lightly as he could.

It barely went over the net but it did manage to go over to Bianca's side.

Of course, she wasn't that great at the sport so don't mind the ball heading over your way Minako!]

[Minako carefully watched the ball before running towards it, jumping and hitting it back over lightly. For now she had chosen not to spike it as hard as she could. No, first she wanted to at least have some hits first.]

[Well, now what? The pokemon were trying to run toward the ball with Musharna trying to hit it. Of course, out of all the other pokemon, she wasn't really known for being the most athletic of the group but she was trying!

With a simple bump over the net, it looked like it was heading toward Minako's side once more!

However since she barely put any power to it, it barely went over the net!]

[Well, that would be easy enough to hit back over, but the only thing she could thing of doing was spiking in downwards.

With swift movements towards the net, a jump and a hit, she hit as hard as she could right by the net and aimed downwards. She wondered if any of them would be able to hit it before it hit the ground.]

[In that split second, one of the nearby pokemon quickly ran over toward the ball! What could she do that this point?

Stoutland quickly ran as she tried to catch the ball! Let's see, what could she do?

WILL SHE MAKE IT?!

No, she didn't.]

Ah, that means we get a point right?

[But Stoutland looks a bit disappointed]

It's one, mill. So yes.

[She's goes to pick up the ball ad passes it over. This time I'll let you lot have a go at serving. Practice makes perfect after all.]

One...mill?

[Bianca questioned but she didn't have time to think about it. Once the ball went over to Emboar, he quickly threw the ball over!]

Ah...I-I got it?

[But it looks like she won't make it time!]

Ha, ha. I meant nill. I guess I was a little too focused to pay attention to what I was doing.

[She watched carefully this time, not, staying close just in case she doesn't make it.]

Ooohhh, I get it!

[She shouted before rushing over to the ball! Well, she barely made it but it didn't even go over the net.

It made to the other side though!

That's something right?]

[Minako had paused for a moment. She was pretty sure the ball had to go over the net. But considering this is their first time for the time she could just let it slide.]

Just remember to keep an eye on the ball at all times and you should be fine.

[Bianca couldn't explain it but somehow...she was a little disappointed in herself. She had a feeling that she wouldn't be able to play volleyball as well as Minako could but...]

How are able to hit over the net like that? It's really difficult to hit it and haha...I can't do anything like that!

Well, it's quite easy actually. [She stood in position, her hands clasped together.]

Some people hit it like this, but there are other ways. But with this you can aim it upwards and make it higher than the net. That way another player can hit it over.

[Bianca just stared at the girl beside her and tried her best to mimic what she was doing. Let's see...

She began to clasp her hands together but she wasn't sure if she was doing it right.]

You mean like this? [How was she going to hit the ball like this?] Maybe I should just continue to just my fists...

Yeah, pretty much. There are many other ways to hit it over though, so long as you use your hands. You can't use any other part of the body.

[Those are the rules after all.]

[Bianca looked at her hands once more before looking back her own pokemon. Then she gave a small smile!]

Then how about we start over again! This time I'll be sure to hit the ball!

Um...who should start?

Why don't you start by serving. It will give you plenty of practice.

[She goes to get the balls holding it out for her.]

Well...okay then?

[She said once she threw the ball up the in air...

And off it goes to the other side! But barely. Still, the ball was bouncing right back to them! Here it comes!]

[Minako knew this time, she was going to pass the ball, give the girl some practice.]

Heads up! [She used the tips of her fingers to lightly hit the ball over towards her.]

[Oh dear, she was going to get it this time!

She was going to!

Wait for it!

...She's going to!

After trying to walk toward the ball, she does hit the ball but she also passed to the other pokemon who managed to hit it over the net! Although, it was still barely...

However, the other pokemon on the other side were trying to get it but...

Looks like they failed]

...Did we win?

[She nods and claps as a job well done.]

Yes, this time the point was ours, well done.
