A good old game of volleyball

Who: Minako Aino and Open to all who want to join in.
Where: The island, the beach
When: July 13th
What: Minako sets up a game of beach volleyball and hopes people will join her.
Style: Any is fine.

[Minako smiled as she had finished drawing lines in the beach, her nice little game of volleyball was slowly, but surely getting underway, but the thing she lacked and the thing that was so needed was two teams to be able to actually play the game. So, sitting down on the edge, leaning back and trying to at least catch some sun, she waits and hoped that someone, anyone would come and enjoy themselves here.]

I'm sure. I mean every now and again people need breaks, right? Never a good idea to over work ones self.

[That and every so often, Minako herself prefers to be lazy.]

Well, that is true...

[She gave a mumble before finally sitting down next to the taller girl]

So...can I ask you something? How did you get into volleyball?

How did I? [She shrugs, she honestly didn't know.]

I guess I figured it out when I first had P.E and we did it as a sport. I'm quite good at that type of thing and it was fun.

Huh really?

[She thought it a little bit]

I guess that's a lot like why I choose to be a pokemon professor now that I think about it! I did it just because it was a lot of fun!

Exactly. People do things they like, not what they don't. it wouldn't be interesting that way after all.

Yeah, it should be!

I guess that it just took me a long time to realize that though. I was trying to do something I thought I was good at but...

[She leaned over slightly.]

But what, you didn't enjoy it as you expected?

Huh? No, not at all! I really did enjoy it, I really do love it!

[Begin arm flailing all around!]

It's just that something else happened before I finally figured out what I wanted to do! That's all!

[Ahahahahaha....]

Like what? What happened before you figured out what you truly loved so you could go for it?

[She's generally curious.]

Uh...

[MINAKO...]

Well, it's just... I found out a lot of things about myself during that time. There weren't a lot of good things and um...

[She never really talked about this with anyone outside of Shing and Kohaku did she?]

I found out I wasn't as 'strong' as my other friends here.

[Not as strong. She was pretty sure she had felt like that at some point in her life. She could recall when she was last to be able to transform again, how terrible and powerless she felt then.

So with a smile she was trying her best to be positive.]

Even if your not strong, you still have positive qualities, right?

[Bianca was mumbling but then she wasn't too sure about that. She had to admit, she was still a little insecure about the idea of being strong at times.

While she had learned that there were other ways to stand up for other people, it still doesn't change the fact that she wasn't really the conventional trainer like her other friends were.]

Yeah, I guess so? I know that I really do love pokemon and do want to help other people...?

Then that is always a good start~! [She nods, arms folded as she seemed so sure of herself.]

Yeah...

[Mumble mumble]

I-I really hope so!

Alright, lets get back to practice.

[She stood up, stretching for a moment before making her way back to the net to pick up the ball.]

O-Oh okay then, let's go!

[With that, she and her pokemon quickly went back to her position and got ready for the next round!]

I'm ready whenever you are!

[Minako soon went back into her space, getting ready to serve.]

Okay, ready, set and go.

[With that she threw the ball up and hit it over. Now the game starts once more.]

[Once the ball was up in the air, one of the other pokemon on the other side quickly throw it right back them! However, it was heading toward Minako's direction anyway.

That didn't stop the other blond and her pokemon from getting ready.]

[Minako watched carefully before going to make the a move to smash it down on the other side.]

[As Minako tried to slam the ball, the pokemon were a little smarter than before. Realizing what she was going to do, Musharna quickly tried to hit the ball with her head before it could get anywhere near the ground.

Although the problem now was that due to the force, she also managed to barely get it over to Bianca's side...now what?]

[Well she was happy to know they were learning as he was keeping calm, doing as what she usually did and just carried on as usual. This time she puts her hands together to hit it back over.]

[Once Minako was trying to it back over, the other pokemon were starting to panic a bit as they were trying to get the ball over! At the last minute, they were able to make a spike downward! Looks like they were trying to mimic what Minako did earlier...]

Hey, you guys cheated! You can't do that!

[Yes, they can]

[Minako for once couldn't get there in time as it hit the sand.]

Actually, they can. They really are learning how to play the game.

[She began looking back at the pokemon and back at Minako]

Ah really? I don't know the rules of this game but...if they really are, then that must mean they're really fast learners! Haha, I know that I'm still having trouble with it!

You can spike the ball downwards. it's a great and fast way of trying to get points. It's not the most common move to do as you have to get it just right, but it's allowed.

[She should know at least, this was her favorite sport.]
