[Lloyd's on a mission. He has no doubt it'll probably be awkward at some points, but it's an important one nonetheless. The nurse told him that people need hugs to keep warm, but not everyone would know that. Who knew who might be freezing to death because they didn't know what they needed to cure it?

Not that hugs fix the problem completely. The effect of the last hug Lloyd had gotten is already starting to wear off. Still, once people know, it'll be easier for them to make sure they get enough physical contact to keep them warm.

So here he is, searching for anyone who looks like they need a hug.]

[She flashes a shade of red.] It's just best to never mention it, ever.

Oh. Well, they do. I've already hugged some people, so I know they really help. You sure you didn't want one? You look pretty cold. Even your cheeks are turning a little red.

[He pauses, scratching the back of his head.]

O...kay... I don't know what it is I'm not mentioning, but... [He smiles.] I guess that means I definitely won't mention it, right?

I think I'll be fine, now I know what it is. [She'll stop being red to. Moving on. Moving on.]

Exactly and it all will be okay.

[He holds out his hand.]

I'm Lloyd, by the way. Lloyd Irving.

[She held her hand shaking it.]

I'm Minako Aino, future idol in the making.

Future... idol?

[A small puff of warmth spreads through him at the same time that they shake hands. Lloyd blinks in surprise. The nurse had only mentioned that hugs worked with warmth. He hadn't realized it might work with other contact.

His mind only notes that in passing, though, his attention still focused on Minako. Minako, what.]

You want to be a statue?

[With the handshake, Minako did start to feel that little warmer. Huh, guess handshakes work too. That's a good thing right?]

I never said anything about being a statue, but if people want to make one of me when I hit it big, I won't question it.

But isn't that what idols are? My Professor used to show us all these pictures in our history book that had idols people used to worship.

[Hey, look, he actually paid attention to and remembered something from history!

Yes, it totally counts even it was the part the had to do with looking at pictures.]

No, that's not what an idol is. An idol is very much a celebrity where I'm from. They are so beautiful and can sing, dance, act and model. they are amazing.

[It's the only thing she's ever wanted to be and works hard for it. Or at least tries anyway.]

Oh.

[Lloyd blinks, letting that sink in. Then he opens his mouth and... doesn't really think before blurting his thoughts out.]

So, can you sing or dance or act? You already look pretty to me.

[Then his thoughts catch up with what just came out of his mouth.]

I, uh, I mean-!

[Alkasdjfaslk. Turning bright red!]

[She can't help but laugh slightly, putting a hand in front of her mouth.]

It's okay. It just means your not from the world I know of.

Probably not.

[Yeah, still pink.]

I'm from a world called Sylvarant. You ever heard of it?

[She shakes her head slightly.]

That's not a country where I'm from, so no. I haven't heard of it before.

[Well, he can't say he's really surprised. Still, he'll just double-check.]

What about Tethe'alla? Or... What's your world called?

[She shakes her head once more.]

Never heard of it. I come from Earth.

[redcladidealist]

Earth? [Lloyd blinks.] Your world is named after the dirt?

[His tone is genuinely curious, if somewhat puzzled. Why would a world be named for just one element?]

Are there Water or Air worlds, too? Or Fire?

[There are more elements than that, of course, but Minako probably gets the idea.]

I guess so, though considering we always have a lot of water to. ,small>[She shrugs, names don't make sense to her anyway.]

No, there are nine plants, but none called after elements. [She came during the time Pluto was still a planet.]

Huh. I wonder if there's a reason, or if people just though of other names that were cool...

[It doesn't sound like it's something he'll get an answer on anytime soon, though. He shrugs it off, moving on.]

There's only two worlds where I'm from, and they used to be part of the same one. One's Sylvarant, one's Tethe'alla, and together they're Aselia.

[Shh, there will always be nine planets in the Sailor Moon universe. Pluto defies reclassification!]

[She just shrugs on that.] I wouldn't know, I don't pay much attention is school, so if they explained the reasoning, odds are I wasn't paying attention.

[She looks rather surprised.]

Wait... How does one world become two?

[Rather than be disappointed by the lack of explanation, Lloyd's face lights up instead.]

Whoa, hey, I do that, too! I mean, sometimes school's just really boring!

[And it looks like she understands!]

I'm not really sure exactly how it happened, but this guy in my world split it in half. My friends told me we're going to try to reunite them, but that's kind of in my future, so I don't know much about it. But I trust their word! They wouldn't lie to me.

You mean there are others that find school boring?! [That was unexpected. She thought he would be the type to enjoy it.]

That sounds like big complicated thing. I'm glad that isn't the case at home. [She knows her own future as well, somewhat anyway, yet doesn't find that weird.]

But, good to know you can trust what your friend says. I mean who wouldn't. I do.

[Lloyd laughs.] You have no idea! My teacher even throws chalk at me sometimes because I fell asleep!

[Aw yeah, bonding over mutual dislike of school! This is probably the first time he's met someone who thinks it's just as boring as he does!]

Yeah, I know what you mean. At least it'll all work out eventually, though.

[Honestly, that's one of the things that's helped him stay sane while he's stuck in this place.]

Wow, you are even worse than I am in class if you have chalk thrown at you.

[It's nice to meet people who share a same common interest in not enjoying school, as she simply nods.]

Hey, it's a long walk through the forest for me just to get to school! I'm tired when I get there, and my teacher's lectures are boring.
