[At first the curse was actually kind of nice considering Sola had his matesprit readily available for prolonged cuddle sessions. Honestly that much wasn't even out of the ordinary, but when the two started to get cold in spite of the contact, Sola came up with a plan. A very simple plan, at that.

Hugs are awesome, so he should just offer them to everyone and then everyone can keep warm!

Of course he's not the only one who had this idea. It's a natural thing to think for generally affectionate people, after all, and when Sola made his move on the plaza with a big fuzzy blanket and some pillows, he found Sora there already with a sign.


FREE HUGS!!

[Deciding that they're of one mind there, Sola and Sora will both be providing the much needed service of cuddling the cold out of anyone who needs it for the duration of the curse! Of course they can't both be there at all times, so if you'd like to catch one or the other of them alone, just put your preferred cuddler's name in the subject line. Otherwise, you'll probably get both boys copping a hug.]

[ Sora looked up and smiled when he saw the Hylian approach. He'd never met Sola before, but he looked a little like Link so there was a moment of mistaken identity till he realized that this guy was obviously different, taller for one (It had been the Wind Walker version so the resemblance was a bit off). ]

Did you need a free hug?

[ He noted the blanket and pillow. Maybe he'd had the same thought Sora had? The Keybearer hadn't thought to bring a pillow or anything, but it had to be more comfortable than the cobbles of the Plaza. ]

[He knows the face just from being in the bubble as long as he has, but Roxas has mentioned him before too.]

[ Sora blinks surprised for a moment before the smile's right back on his face again. ]

Yup! Sorry I don't know your name.

[ He held out a hand to shake. ]

Thanks! I thought it was a good idea since it started wearing off around my friends.

Oh! Sorry. I'm Sola! I'm friends with Roxas, he told me who you were. You're like Link is for me!

[He adjusts the pile of pillows and blankets in his arms to shake Sora's hand, always pleased to meet an original that doesn't shun his replica. Or in Sora's case, replicas.]

Yeah, cuddling with Johnny wasn't getting me warm anymore either. It's pretty upsetting, honestly.

[ Barry was walking through the plaza when he spotted Sola sitting by the fountain. Well this was interesting. He walked over his eyes slightly narrowed and still a bit wary considering the results of the last curse the two had endured together. ]

Sola...I'm surprised to see you here. Did Addy finally get tired of you, an kick you out?

[The Hylian looks a little annoyed at the implication, but not nearly as badly as he would have before.]

No, he didn't kick me out.

[He rests his chin in his hand, looking up at the taller demon.]

Are you cold?

[If the curse has gotten to Barry, Sola doesn't think anyone would really want to hug someone so... well, Barry. But he'll do it! Replicas have got to stick together, after all.]

[ Barry felt like he was freezing, but he wasn't about to admit that to Sola. He was wearing his cloak, and if Sola looked close enough he would see that Barry was shivering slightly. ]</small. No, and if I was I certainly wouldn't need your help. I can't imagine Addy would be pleased to find you peddling yourself out here like this.

[Hugging Axel hasn't completely worn off, but it's difficult to run errands from the sofa or while hugging someone quite a bit taller.

He's nowhere near freezing as he passes through the plaza, but he is getting a little chilly, and he spots two friendly faces doing something which... really doesn't surprise him. He smiles.]

[ Sora grins from beside Sola. ]

I thought you'd be home with Axel.

Yeah, we had the same idea! So we met that way.

[He glances at Sora, then his eyes go wide at Roxas.]

[He looks over at his partner in crime for affirmation.]

[ Sora looks between the two after raising a hand in greeting to the new face. ]

[ Not really anyway, but then Sora realized he said something that may have been mean ]

Ah! I didn't mean anything bad by that!

[ He waved his hands in front of his face as if that would get rid of the words. ]

I mean, it's nice to meet you.

[ He laughed and rubbed the back of his head. ]

[Piper is not happy with this curse at all. Mostly because Jason isn't here for her to cuddle with, as cliche as this curse is. It's like a corny romance movie or show or something.

Well, whatever. She's outside the house she shares with her friends to get a feel for the place after getting to know her neighborhood. The fact that there are no monsters to suddenly attack her is a pleasant relief.

Sadly, Piper does not expect any surprise free hugs.]

[Well then she's going to be surprised because Sola, over excited from the abundance of hugs he's been giving, decides to spring one on her with abandon. Here's some arms coming around from behind for a squeeze, Piper!]

[ Sora was just a touch more reserved, mostly because he hadn't met Piper before, otherwise he'd have been right behind Sola. ]

[Her naturally cooler body temperature had held it off, leaving her not noticing the effects of the curse for longer than some, yet it had still been a surprise when it had finally caught up to her.

She's handling it with as much grace as she can manage, but no one really likes being cold, do they?

Surprise hugs are definitely welcome, especially from her favourite grandson.]

[He looks over at the pillow pile he's constructed with Sora and waves the other boy over.]

[ Sora stood up and headed over with a wave. ]

You sure have a lot of family here Sola!

[ Which was a good thing, even if they weren't blood related having people you could call family around was always a good thing in Sora's book. ]

[Dirk, somehow, hasn't ended up too cold for too long during the curse, thanks to a number of his friends. In some ways, it's driving home how many people he knows, which is a wonder in and of itself. But for now, he's run out of possible hug dispensers, and is doing his best to ignore the curse in favor of getting things done, which at the moment requires going out to the Plaza.

He doesn't get very far into the Plaza once he's there, though. He just takes a moment or two to stare at the sign.]

Well yeah, but it's for everyone else too! There's people in the bubble who don't have enough friends to stay warm and it's sad.

[He can think of a couple. Not many though. Really he just thinks hugs are awesome.]

[Namine had been hugging herself for most of her stroll through the plaza, why it was so cold, she had no idea. This shouldn't have surprised her after all that's happened. She suddenly caught sight of seeing a familiar face caused her to look at the little event that was going on.]

Free...hugs? I didn't think hugs costed anything...

They don't, but someone could charge for them. [ Not that it would make much sense to do so here since everything was free anyway. ]
