When Yukiko noticed the strange hat hanging on her doorknob, she didn't think much of it. Sure it was a nice hat and managed to pick it up, but she didn't see what the big deal was. Just for fun, she wanted to try it on and maybe get a good laugh like her favorite pair of glasses. However...that wasn't the result she got.

Without any warning, she had left the agency without telling her roommates where she was going off to. There were more important things to do at this very moment such as finding the mysteries of this place because there had to be some kind of ancient artifact around here right? Also...she felt like she needed a whip for some reason.

Beware Nazis and snakes...Yukiko Jones is on the move.

Naoto had been confused when her senpai was acting strange. However once she realized what was going on she let out a sigh. This was going to be an interesting curse.

She wasn't exactly sure what she could do. After all she knew how curses work...

She just didn't know what this curse would do...

Of course there's something Naoto can do: go after her senpai before she does something really stupid like climb walls or get into a fight. Because knowing Yukiko...somehow trouble follows.

Of course, Naoto does just this. She somehow feels like the "adventurer's sidekick," not a fan of the feeling right off. Of course she doesn't want her senpai to get hurt so she does it anyway.

She grabs a medical kit and makes her way out the door, putting up a sign that says "Temporarily closed due to curse." She had made that sign late one night. She knew what the curses here could do. She wanted to be sure they were ready just in case of such an emergency.

At least Yukiko decided not to suddenly climb walls and dig random holes; instead she was heading towards the shopping district trying to find something more suitable for exploring and going on an adventure. There's so much someone can do in a skirt and pantyhose after all.

Just...don't let her go near a whip.

Naoto was at least thankful for that. But that didn't mean she should let her guard down. No, she had to be ready for anything. She was just glad she had the medkit.

A new outfit was probably easy enough for her to find. And Naoto made sure to keep her eyes open to make sure that any accessories were not something that could be dangerous.

But as Yukiko was heading towards a clothing store, she stopped in her tracks. You didn't go in a different world and not notice if someone is being followed. So she turned around to see her friend nearby. Weird.

"...Naoto-kun? Is everything ok?"

*pats* it's fine

Naoto had a shoulder bag on with the medkit in it. She had honestly made herself obvious that she was following her friend. She didn't want her hurt. While it may not be happening now, she knew it would happen soon.

"Everything is alright for the moment," she answered, "I'm just making sure that you stay okay."

"Huh? Why would I not be?"

Yukiko felt good and she wasn't going to do anything stupid...well not yet anyway.

Naoto sighed. Yukiko probably had no idea what was going on with her. She was probably confused somewhere in the back of her mind. Naoto knew how this went and was used to what was going on.

"Trust me when I tell you that what you're feeling right now... is not normal for you. I'll explain it later."

"You mean it's not normal to want to go explore for treasure?"

Imagine someone saying that while sounding completely innocent. Yukiko really did think this was normal.

Naoto was honestly not surprised. She knew that the curse had something to do with it. She was a little thrown off with the innocense that went with it, but this was Yukiko-senpai.

"No Yukiko-senpai. That is not normal for you." She emphasized the last part for her senpai's sake.

She had to think for a moment; now that she did, Yukiko would never want to go find treasure. She had too much to do at the inn for silly games like that...but why was she having that urge now?

"Maybe it's being in a new place that is making me feel this way."

Naoto sighed. She knew she would have to explain it more later, after the curse was finished. For now, though, she would have to make sure her senpai stayed safe.

"You... could say that," she finally spoke, looking to the giant coral that was in the center of it all.

"So it's a good thing then! Maybe Vatheon will have unknown treasures that everyone can enjoy."

And with that, she is going to the nearest shop and holding onto her hat with the biggest/cheesiest grin on her face. Adventure ho!

Naoto wanted to say something more, but Yukiko was already on her way. She shook her head, a smirk crossing her lips. Yes, this would be interesting for sure. She just really hoped her senpai didn't get too carried away.

Adjusting the bag on her shoulder, the young detective followed the red-clad teen to the nearest shop. She would most definitely be making sure that her senpai made it through this curse alive.
