[After gathering a little information about Vegeta, Zelda decides to try and find him for herself. She doesn't want to speak with him, just observe him a little. The largest lead she has about him is that he's hitting every restaurant in town. She can be found in one early morning, sitting off to the side with a glass of water and just watching.]

[She giggles at bit, before answering.]

Oh, that's because I'm a feral. A feral, in case you don't know, is sorta like a human, but with more animal-like features. Each feral is a different one, and I am one of the dragonkin. ...well, the only surviving member, anyway.

[Zelda looks surprised to hear that Rhi'a is a sort of dragon. Sure, there were legends about good dragons, but the only ones she'd ever known were just rampaging beasts with a taste for treasure.]

How fascinating. My condolences for being the last, though. That must be difficult for you.

[She tries to hold a smile. She really does...but...

But it's not as full as normal. Not because she minds much...but because being the last reminds her her grandfather is dead...]

It's...manageable. I've lived a good portion of my life without my kin.

though...I have a lot of responsibilities to them. But I am confident in myself. I can do it. I have to. Failure is not an option.

[Zelda nods solemnly. Rhi'a's sense of duty strikes a chord with her.]

You must forge on in their stead. You seem like a strong woman, I have no doubt that you can do so.

...thank you Zelda. Your words of reassurance mean a lot.

[And then next thing you know Zelda, HUG! Rhi'a smiles, wrapping her arms tightly around her new friend. Clearly she's really happy now.]

[Zelda blushes, looking around uncertainly before returning the hug lightly. She isn't used to being touched all that frequently, having spent the last seven years of her life as a Sheikah and on the run. It's kind of nice, though... She's so completely distracted by the hug that she doesn't even see Vegeta flying by to find another restaurant until it's too late. So much for that!]

A-ahh! There he just went!

R-really!?

[And cue end of hug as she looks up fast enough to see him dart off.]

Should we try and follow him?

[Zelda pauses, trying to sense for his presence but feeling no magic at all. Strange... how had he been flying, then?]

No, he is too far out of range. How fast...

He was going at an impressive speed.

I wonder how he achieved it.

[zelda_hylia]

It wasn't magic... I've never felt an energy like that before.

[Don't mind Zelda, she's sulking now.]

Hmmm...perhaps some research is in order.

That sounds like a good idea.

[Hey, maybe she can injure him and drop him off at the clinic! Muraki would like that, wouldn't he? And hadn't Medic been going about vivisection during the confessions curse? That would qualify as research...]

I suppose another trip to the library would be in order for me.

Though...I'm not exactly sure what to look for. He's not human, we know that much. But...what exactly is he?

Something human-like, with unnatural strength, strange hair and a monkey's tail...

[There's nothing like that in Hyrule. Zelda folds her arms thoughtfully.]

Simply asking him isn't an option, I suppose.

It's possible we could ask him. Well, I could anyway. But I'll have to be careful.

That's right, he wasn't violent towards you... perhaps you could try using the Starfish Communicator? It would be safer.

[Zelda's not sold on Vegeta at all, so she wouldn't suggest contact in person.]

[She giggles.]

Zelda, please. I have over two hundred years of combat practice. I can take care of myself.

[She's going to have to stare for a minute.]

Goodness. I had heard that dragons were long-lived, but you don't look to be any older than I am! I never would have guessed.

Well, dragonkin age differently than most beings. That, and I do take care of my body.

And I thought that Hylians were long-lived. 200 years would be close to our maximum lifespan...

[Wait, she wasn't here to learn things! Oh well, Vegeta is long gone.]

Do you regulate mana differently than other creatures?

Well then it seems we outlive you. Dragonkin can live over a thousand years no problem. I myself am three hundred.

[Wait...what? Mana? She's...never heard of that before.]

Mana? I don't believe I'm familiar with that term...

The energy all around us.

[Zelda folds her hands, causing the mana around her to glow a soft golden color.]

Not every race or person is capable of manipulating it, but those that are tend to live longer.

[Not exactly sure what to say, so she's quiet for a while.]

That is indeed interesting. Perhaps we do manipulate it without knowing, then.

It's likely. You do have a feeling of power about you.

[A power more familiar than whatever Vegeta was using, at least!]

The dragonkin are a powerful race, so that doesn't surprise me.

Though...I feel weaker than I was before. This bubble clearly limits powers.
