It has been quite the few days, hasn't it been, Vatheon? That conversation appearing on the network --just who had posted that, anyway?-- the experiment and then the collapse of the bubble and the evacuation. It certainly kept everybody's hands quite busy and full. But now that things are looking at little more calm, with far fewer trips needed to ferry things from down in the bubble up to the island, Station Master makes his move, abandoning his post to seek out people. Who? Well, just about anyone. He seems to avoid groups, instead seeking out people while they are alone, whether wrapped up in some activity, or moving from on place to the other. His purpose? Unclear for now, but if you are a foreigner and you are on the island, you may very well find yourself with a sudden Station Master at your side.

How will you respond?

If it is not too much bother, could I have a few moments of your time? There is something I wish to discuss with you.

[She turns more toward him, looking up at him.]

Of course, sir. What is it you wish to know?

It is about the barrier. Do you believe it to be unfixable?

[This question made Naoto pause for a moment. She remembered seeing the crack and how bad it was. She crossed her arms and bowed her head. Unfixable?

She turned back toward the water, gazing out over the blue surface.]

Unfixable? Not entirely. It may be able to be fixed, but it will take a lot of man power to do so. And as you know, not in just one way. Not only will it take the energy of us who are called visitors, but it will also take several powers trying to repair it.

[She lifted a hand to her chin, deep in thought.]

Depending on who is repairing the crack, you may want to consider having them practice their techniques and spells in small scale before actually having them work on the barrier at full scale.

I believe we may have figured out a technique to fix it, though as you say, it still requires some fine-tuning. Which is where I would like to ask you for help.

[She looks up to him.]

Of course, sir. What do you have in mind?

I'm afraid I cannot divulge more details than that right now. I've planned a meeting this Friday evening to discuss this matter with everybody who is interested in helping out to repair the damage that has been done.

I see...

[Naoto nods at hearing the information. A meeting to see what could be done to try and fix the damage. It would most certainly give interesting results.]

I shall most certainly attend.

May I request that you leave your communicator at home? As it was given to you by the very people who are holding you captive, I have reason to believe that they are being tracked and tapped. I'd rather not have them find out anything about what we are doing.

[Naoto was surprised, but she didn't let it be seen. To be honest, she wasn't surprised when she was told about this. She wondered who had brought her. She was also not surprised when the possibility of the devices being bugged was brought up.]

I don't believe that would be too much of a problem.
