It has been quite the few days, hasn't it been, Vatheon? That conversation appearing on the network --just who had posted that, anyway?-- the experiment and then the collapse of the bubble and the evacuation. It certainly kept everybody's hands quite busy and full. But now that things are looking at little more calm, with far fewer trips needed to ferry things from down in the bubble up to the island, Station Master makes his move, abandoning his post to seek out people. Who? Well, just about anyone. He seems to avoid groups, instead seeking out people while they are alone, whether wrapped up in some activity, or moving from on place to the other. His purpose? Unclear for now, but if you are a foreigner and you are on the island, you may very well find yourself with a sudden Station Master at your side.

Not here, and not now. Consider this talk more of an... invitation. A head's up if you will.

[Up goes the eyebrow again.]

Alright. Sounds weird, but if you're being this sneaky about it, there's probably a reason. Give me what details you can now and I'll meet wherever this invitation is to.

I believe there is a chance we can fix the damage that was done. That is as much as I can say right now.

I will give you all the details friday night at ten. I'm intending to speak to all of those who expressed an interest in attempting to repair the bubble at once.

Then count me in. I don't know about everyone here, but I don't want to lose that place.

[Which is pretty darn open of him to say, but really, he's been caught in thought enough with worrying this might be permanent.]

I would ask why you're going about things like this, too, but I know better than to expect straightforward answers at this point and my frustration meter has little room for something new. Just tell me where to go to hear those details, if you're going to do it in person.

I have two requests if you are willing to hear me out.

First, when you attend, please do not bring your communicator along. Not even in that odd... contraption you have for storing items.

It's called a sylladex, and I will spare you the nuances of its function. Consider it granted.

Second request?

Could I ask you to inform some of the other trolls? I know there are a fair few that look to you as a leader. I'm trying to inform as many people as I can myself, but between trying to stay discreet and still carrying out my duties, I must admit it is a bit tough.

I'll stick to my team. Ancestors and the pre-scratch group, you're on your own, except maybe Meenah because she manages to go through life without a terminal addiction to wedging her lobe up her ass. Do you know who I'm talking about or will I have to explain?

I have become familiar with you youngsters' lingo.

Please refrain from discussing this matter over the communicators though. I'm certain that by now you must have come to the conclusion that they are monitored, correct? I want to keep this manner under the radar as much as possible.

Calling it "you youngsters' lingo" is hardly promising, but if you get the gist, fine. I'll do it. The more help we have for this the better, and I will refrain from descriptive metaphors so you can get back to finding people to talk to.
