01 - We met on the roads where thousands pass

Who: K cast, mainly HOMRA but including Shiro and Kuroh if they show up for some reason or another

[There's a familiar head of hair on the coral, maybe even a familiar shirt. The shirt is covered in almost familiar blood too...

He doesn't seem to be awake.]

(( ooc: Sister and I decided that Anna would find him first-- and drag Mikoto and Izumo over to make sure it's Tatara. ))

[ That is an unfortunately familiar head of hair, and familiar shirt. Even without her marbles, there is a definite familiar feel to them.

Anna cautiously heads closer, peering at-

That's- ]

[ Is it? Anna reaches up and nudges a knee. ]

[Tatara lets out a small groan, trying to sit up. Blinking, he spots Anna.]

Eh? Anna?

...!

[ Anna stares very intently at ...

She needs to check.

So without a word, she turns and darts into that Bar HOMRA off to the edge of the plaza. She needs Mikoto and Izumo to double check.

Please be Tatara. ]

[Tatara just blinks after her.]

Ehhh?

[ Anna looks about the room, and spotting Mikoto in a lazy nap, makes a quick check to find Izumo.

Not behind the bar, which means... Store room? He had been in the bar a moment ago...

Once she finds him, she latches onto his wrist and tugs him toward the main room. She needs to wake Mikoto and get them both to the coral. ]

[ Indeed, Izumo is in the store room, labeling a few boxes and bottles he'd just brought in and making sure things are overall organized.

When suddenly! There's a tiny hand tugging at his wrist, rather insistently too! ]

Anna? What is it?

[ He lets her pull him along to the couch where Mikoto's taken up residence. ]

[ He's already propped up on his elbows, glancing over to where Anna had scurried to in the back room. Without another moment passed, he's up, ruffling his own hair back into a measure of order and making his way to the room. ]

S'matter?

[ And reaching up for Mikoto's wrist to, and she's not stopping long to do so! ]

Come.

[ Only the door is a bit of a barrier. Both of her hands are busy! This is no good... Maybe she should make them hold hands- ]

[ Izumo glaces to the side, answering Mikoto's groggy question with a shrug. ]

Somethin' to show us, I guess?

[ Just...please don't be another animal. ]

Aa.

[ Slipping a cigarette between his lips and taking Anna's hand in his on. ]

Let's go.

[ He knows bout the bird. ]

[ Surprise! Its a different sort of flighty thing. Hopefully.

Anna struggles with the door but they need to go to the coral. Does she look a little odd mix of hesitant-and-eager? Kinda like the 'oops will he let me keep the bird', but...

That's not a bird over at the coral, is it? ]

[Ah! Anna's back! And...

That's King and Kusanagi, isn't it?]

Aaah... [Well, this is kinda strange. He probably shouldn't get up so he just raises a hand and waves.]

Kusanagi, King, Anna! [Please don't hit him on the head--]

[ He approaches with her, drawing that cigarette out from between his lips when he spots whoever Anna's running to. Then that cigarette just kind of falls from his fingers the minute he spots who it is.

Is it? It can't be.

But then who is Mikoto to say? After all, he's supposed to be dead too.

Well don't that just beat all. ]

Heh. You're here too.

[ This place, it must be fucking with him. To bring Mikoto, his King, here, on the verge of death. And now Tatara, the vassal, in the same state...

Back home, Izumo wasn't able to let out everything he'd felt as he'd watched Yata sit there with Tatara dying in his arms. He had to be the composed one. Same with Mikoto, as he watched him get closer and closer to his own destruction.

But here... well even now, all he can seem to do is let out a sad laugh and rub at his forehead. ]

...Idiots. The both of you.

[ Well. Those reactions settle it for Anna. She lets go of hands, and quickly crosses the space to Tatara. The side of him that's red and shouldn't be gets stared at for a moment, but she is going to do her best to climb up on the coral right next to him and never let go. ]

[Oh. ...Those weren't the reactions he was expecting, but okay. He's not getting hit on the head, this is good. And now he has a little girl clinging to him while he's still on this coral.]

Ah, Anna... [This really isn't comfortable, but he wraps an arm around her anyway.

He looks over at Kusanagi-san and King, smiling.]

I said it'd work out, right?

[Hopefully they won't hit him for that...And ow, that bit of coral is sharp. He winces, lifting the arm not around Anna to rub his head.]

Can we go home now? [Since it's King and Kusanagi-san that Anna went to grab, HOMRA's here too, right?]

[ Simply because he's not one to talk. He arrived with a hole in his chest from getting the pointy end of a very blue rapier shoved into him. So instead, there's an arm going around Totsuka to help him up and act as a bit of a support. There's no way he's walking back to the bar on his own.

There's one headjerk over to Izumo, though. If he's got a lecture, he'll save it for later when they're back at the bar and away from the coral. ]

[ Oh, he's got a lecture alright. But getting Tatara to the bar and healed up is definitely of a higher priority.

Mikoto seems to have Tatara pretty well in hand, so Izumo takes on the task of grabbing Anna back down from where she'd climbed up on the coral. ]

Not exactly home, but I think now it'll finally start to feel that way.

[ The new bar had been missing all the bits of flare only Totsuka Tatara could give it. ]

[ Once Tatara is up and Izumo has her, Anna holds onto Izumo's shirt with one hand and reaches for something of Tatara's to hold as well. His coat collar, maybe?

They have three guesses as to what Anna wants them to do once they're inside. ]

Ah, King! Thanks.

[Even with support, walking like this is kinda painful. But since it's King, Anna, and Kusanagi-san, nothing's going to be said about it.

It'll be fine in a bit, right? It'd seriously suck if he died after seeing the three of them again...

What does he mean about it not exactly being home? If it has them, it's already home.]

Isn't there a saying "Home is where the heart is", Kusanagi-san?

[Anna, he can't really cuddle yet. He's still healing.]

[ He'll be more than happy to support him all the way back to the bar but truth be told, it's still a little surreal. The fact that he can actually hold on to him like this, that he can feel the warmth from him as well as the wetness from the water and the near-dead weight...

But then again, the city did bring him in too. So Suoh just shifts his weight, making it easier for his vassal to lean against him. ]

[ Izumo just gives Tatara a smile in response, shaking his head at the guy's lighthearted tone despite the state he was currently in.

He holds the door to the bar open for Mikoto to get Tatara inside. ]

We need to find someone to heal him.

[ He's all set to take his SFC out and ask the network if no one knows of someone in particular. ]

[ Anna doesn't, but she's connected something. Tatara had been a bit uncomfortable while she had tried to hold onto him, and still a little more when Mikoto was walking with him and she'd been trying to get a hold, which meant cuddles and naps together were most definitely not a possibility at the moment.

That wouldn't do. Izumo was fishing for his starfish, which would be easier than getting her own out, so... ]

[ She'll just take that and head into the bar ahead of them. Its a different color, but she can figure out the video- ]

Ehhh?

[Anna, what is that and what are you doing? Why are you going into the bar ahead of them?

Annaaaa!

This has something to do with him being hurt, doesn't it?]

[ He'll set Tatara back onto the couch he usually naps on in the bar. He's about to reach out to intercept Anna but then he realizes what she's planning. None of them were healers and he probably needs much more than just bandaging. ]

[ And his SFC has been snatched! Well, if no one replies quickly enough, he can do a backup post confirming that they do in fact need someone, STAT.

Until then, he's gonna keep that wound covered and clean. They're not losing him this time, alright? ]
