Please others with love, please your heart with song
Who: Cielo and anybody in the area
When: March 15th, midday
Where: Plaza
Style: Your choice, I'll match you
Status: Open
Those who pass by the plaza today, whether they're battle weary adventurers or normal civilians, may hear the sounds of music in the air (and perhaps feel their magic statistics raise by 1). If they choose to follow it, they'll find Vatheon's only bard with dreadlocks standing near a fountain. His bard outfit is mostly blue with accents of pink, purple, and green and in the classy cap on his head, there's an orange feather. In his hands is a pale purple stringed instrument connected to a small amplifier.
Is that...a guitar he's playing?
Wrong! It's too small. And it doesn't sound quite right for a guitar.
No, Cielo is playing a ukulele.
An electric ukulele.
He's pretty good at it too.
Care to stop and listen? Dance to the music? Chat? Maybe whip out your own instrument and play along? He'd welcome any company.

Some leave, satisfied, but others come to take their place. It's like the audience ebbs and flows, like the ocean . . .
"Where did you learn all of these songs?" she asks, in an amused tone. And here she thought she'd heard all the practicing he did . . .

"I think it's from the curse, ja? It's like I just know."

"If only it had been that easy for me."
Is she implying that she once tried to learn an instrument?
Why yes, yes she is.

Even combat AI like them need to hone their skills.

He does bring up a good point; and she hasn't practiced the flute in ages. Not since Kurow left Vatheon. It's probably for the best, though she definitely wouldn't mind picking it up again when she doesn't have a curse to worry about. Tucking that away at the back of her mind, she continues:
"Well, in that case, I'm glad to see you making the most of it while you can."
A firm nod.
"Have you gained any other abilities?"

Maybe that wasn't the best way to put it. Cielo knows very well what music can do. Sera's singing saved his life once and he had once proposed convincing God to not destroy the world via impassioned dance.
"Er, what I mean is, it's like it has the same effect as support magic, ja?"
no subject
"That would come in handy -- assuming you can control it."

"It has to do with the way I sing," he finally says. "The words don't matter as much as how it sounds."
no subject
"You mean things like how loudly you sing, or how fast?"
no subject
"Ja, exactly like that! Or if they're happy songs or sad songs."
It was something he noticed rather quickly with his powers of observation. People suddenly felt stronger or faster when they listened to him.

"I should let you continue, then."
He should be the one to choose what he plays, though taking requests is always an idea.

Playing something like that on an electric ukulele is no easy feat, but his coral given gifts manage it with little difficulty.
