Sneaky Stealthy Selphie!~

Who: Selphie and Any Passers By (+ their belongings)
When: Whenever over the next few days (even broad daylight!)
Where: In the shadows of the plaza.

The first thing Selphie noticed was that she was able to get out of bed, get showered, and have breakfast without falling or knocking anything over. Next was the outfit. For the next two weeks, Selphie will be clothed in a very tightly fitted, curve hugging, leaving nothing to the imagination black leather catsuit. (No pic, cause you try Googling that and getting a SFW image. I'll let you browse at your leisure...) It's probably a good thing that Selphie has never thought of herself as a sexual object. She's pretty sure that men just don't think about her that way. Otherwise, there would be no way she would leave the house wearing that. Her usual nunchaku was replaced by a whip - but hey, at least she'd tried using Quistis' in the past, so she knew what she was doing with it.

Selphie also noticed her desperate desire to get her hands on some pretty things. Far from materialistic, but Selphie had a hunger from some sparkly diamonds, or maybe some kind of trinket that is difficult to get her hands on but completely useless. So if you're going by the plaza today, you'd best keep your wits about you. Selphie is crouched in a shadow, like a cat ready to pounce, a hood complementing her leather get up, hiding her face from any passers by. But don't worry, whether she slides your bracelet from your wrist, or pulls your wallet from your pocket, Selphie doesn't want to hurt anyone. In fact, she's more likely to charmingly distract as she takes what she wants.

And then, a girl dressed in an outfit that, if anything, might have been worse than Selphie's catsuit decided to try sneaking up on her from another shadow...

"Hey! What'cha doing?"

[ As she's peeking out from the shadows, Selphie might notice Izumo standing next to a horse who won't seem to leave him alone. It keeps nudging him with it's nose as he tries to light a cigarette - which isn't quite as easy as flicking his fingers to create fire anymore.

His normal dress has changed to something far more rugged looking. Earth toned with bits of fur and armor in areas around his shoulders and waist.

There's also a shiny dagger hanging from his belt that might look rather inviting? ]

*From her secret hiding place, Selphie is having a great time watching people come and go in their new outfits. Her head tilts slightly as she notes Izumo's costume, though at least it's not embarrassing like others she's seen.

And wow, look at that dagger. She needs to have it. Really needs it. But she knows that while Izumo might be distracted with his ciagarette, that horse is far more instintual and will notice her.

That dagger, though, is just too beautiful to ignore. So she gives it a try anyway, creeping stealthily towards him, her hood still up to hide her face*

Selphie, being now super sensitive to all things, was aware of the girl approaching her. But she didn't seem to be a threat, so Selphie stayed still, waiting to see if she got closer. She turned slightly towards the girl, eyeing the outfit - huh, it was weird, and left the girl kind of bear.

"Watching. What are you doing?"

"I should've figured a thief would notice a thief. Man, and I wanted to catch someone by surprise, too."

She glanced towards Selphie.

"Huh. I guess the outfits aren't the same for every class. Makes you wonder where the coral gets all these ideas from, huh?"

Selphie grinned at that and nodded, "I'm sure you'll catch someone out soon... We could make a game of it!"

She giggled at that, then looked down at her own tight leather suit, "Yeah...I dunno. But they're sure having fun with all these costumes!"

"Eh, I'm not too worried about surprising anyone! It's just a side thing to do in between going through all the quests!"

Pascal grinned. "And there's WAY too many of those to run out of stuff to do!"

Will ya just let me light this thing?

[ Yeah, Izumo's pretty distracted, but he finally gets his lighter to spark up and takes a satisfying drag from his cigarette.

Ah calming nicotine~ ]

[ And it is helping calm him until about a second later when Basashi suddenly rears up on her hind legs, neighing and making quite a bit of fuss! Seems she spotted a potential threat to her human companion! ]

*!! Uh oh! She's been spotted, and now she has a rogue decision to make. Hmm... She could just run away or, she cou'd go for the dagger while Izumo's distracted. Yeah, the latter seems like more fun, even if it dangerous.

So she steps forward quickly, hand reaching out for the hilt of the dagger, her body not coming into contact with Izumo at all. Will she successfully grab that dagger or won't she?

Then quick as a flash she moves round behind him, her attention on this horse. Here's where some charming might work. She reaches up to put her hands on the horse's neck and body, shushing the animal softly* Ssh... there's a good girl...

"You're not?" Selphie blinked at the girl - for her, just being able to be a bit of a nuisance was half the fun of all of this! Well... kind of.

"That's true! There's so much going on right now..." She'd looked at the boards but there was a lot of info to take on at once, and she wasn't sure how much she could manage on her own.

"Well, yeah. There's like, ten major quests!"

Selphie laughed at that and smiled slightly at the girl, "And lemme guess, you're gonna try all them, huh? You're doing them on your own, or with friends?"

"Mixing both. Some are easier to solo, since I can sneak them and avoid any encounters."

"Anything you might want a little help with?"

Selphie looked at the girl carefully and tilted her head - maybe she could help her get lots of riches!

"Heh.. We could team up on one or two, I guess. Up to you which, if you think you can handle it."

"Think I can handle it?" Well, that was almost insulting. Selphie shook her head and put a hand firmly on her hip - maybe it would be better not to work with someone who doubted what she was capable of.

"Of course I can handle it! But don't worry, I can work on my own. I wouldn't want to hold you back, after all..."

"Hey, hey, I'm just saying, I know I, at least, wouldn't stand a chance doing some of these yet! Gotta level up first, you know? But the ones where two thieves COULD do the job better?"

"Well...Some of them aren't really so suited to rogues, ya know?" Selphie can't help but pout a little at that - she was still smarting at her lack of magic. "But for definite, we could have a go at something!"

"Well, yeah! Just gotta go decide what!"

(OOC: Which I'm leaving up to you. :) )

[ Selphie's charm works slightly on Basashi, but it's not until the horse notices Izumo's reaction to the girl that she calms down entirely.

Yes. Izumo seems to be quite okay with this rogue that's suddenly appeared by his side. So okay with it, in fact, that he hasn't noticed just who the girl is.

...That skin tight leather suit is distracting, okay? He'll snap out of it in a minute. ]

*Poor Selphie, she's not aware at all of what's going on behind her. She just thinks that her charm spell has really worked, and she's very pleased about that. She continutes to stroke the horse's neck for another moment, still thinking about how to steal that dagger, before turning round to face Izumo*

Sorry, I didn't mean to scare your horse. She's really cute though!

*Oh, but she hasn't taken her hood down. So she lifts it down carefully, smiling as she reveals who she is*

[ Izumo certainly wasn't expecting sweet, innocent Selphie to be the one hiding under that hood. The reveal snaps him out of his staring, but he still can't help giving her another look up and down. ]

Really? You like it. I thought it was kinda...embarrassing..

*She has, after all, had some interesting looks from people. She smiles a little awkwardly, also looking Izumo up and down, though more to locate that shiny dagger*

[ Selphie's charm spell is working so much better on Izumo than it did on Basashi. Well... she probably didn't even need any sort of spell to catch his attention. ]

If ya ask me, I think it looks pretty amazin' on you.

*Selphie's pretty sure that no one has ever used the word 'amazing' in reference to how she looks, so she blushes so quickly that she has to look away*
