Happy birthday to Zelda

[There are a suspicious amount of balloons gracing the plaza today, all in pink and gold. And not only in the plaza! Bunches of these balloons are tied from the walk in front of Ordo 2 & 3 leading all the way up through the plaza and into the park, a guide for the guest of honor to reach her own party!

The field the balloons lead into is set up with all manner of tables, adorably appointed in pinks and whites with fanciful candies in jars, cupcake pops, and a beautifully ornate birthday cake stands on a table to the side. There's another table set aside for gifts and cards as well, and even a live crustacean band that Zelos hired to provide music for the party.

Best birthday party ever? I think so! So feel free to enjoy yourselves~]

((ooc: So this is a mingle log for everyone to celebrate Zelda's birthday obviously! Anyone who saw Zelos' message on the network a couple days ago is welcome as long as they behave. You don't have to interact with Zelos or even Zelda though, just go ahead and treat it like a general mingle log))

[C'mon, Zelda, the balloons really should've been a give-away as to what it is! And Zelos really went at this whole thing; he's impressed. But Peony laughs, watching her confusion for a while; poor girl! When was the last time she had a party for her birthday?

But this is why, when he pops up for well-wishing, he carries two gifts wrapped in a myriad of pinks and golds with a blue ribbon each, just the right shade, the boxes two different sizes. Please forgive the fact that he has a tendency to be more than a little flamboyant with people, Zelda. Though, really, what that amounts to this time? Is just further abandonment of his station as he bows slightly at the waist as a greeting. ...For all of three seconds. He springs back upright, smiling brightly (and maybe still amused).]

[The slight bow in return is reflexive, something she can't stop in her currently ruffled state. At least she doesn't have to wonder why Peony might want to wish her a happy birthday - she did help care for his... well, whatever Jade was to him.]

Truthfully, all this fuss is a little embarrassing... we did not make such a racket about it even back in the castle.

[Cute, Zelda. But maaan, really?! He looks a bit surprised at that. Then again, he did mostly grow up in Keterburg instead of in the palace...]

[And... Speaking of Jade, he really does appreciate Zelda's part in that whole thing. Peony'd seen enough of Jade's fears, but seeing one of his own play out... Definitely not something to look forward to experiencing again any time soon!]

Good thing it's being remedied!

I am not sure it's something that needs to be "remedied" exactly, but if everyone is having fun with it, then I will not complain too terribly much. It is not as if we have a lot of responsibilities to attend to in Vatheon, after all.

[If this were back home she'd be scolding people for wasting time and resources, but here? It really doesn't matter.]
