[Alright, with all things considered it was bit of a understatement to say that Yukio Okumura was confused. One minute he was assisting the boy exwires into their "required uniform" and the next he was sitting waist deep in a water fountain. Gingerly climbing out of the fountain and expecting his soaking wet "uniform", Yukio had yet the chance to figure out where he is. Would anyone care to lend him a hand ~~and maybe a change of boy's clothes~~ ?]

[Rin was starting to think this was going to be a month of surprises, both pleasant and unpleasant.

But this one... he wasn't sure which category it fell in to.

At first, while walking by, he thought it was just a very tall but kind of pretty female new arrival, and he wasn't going to stop, but the exorcist jacket and pink True Cross uniform skit actually caught his attention. An exorcist that was still in school at the academy? It happened. He knew his class was of course one of many.

But once the "girl" turned he damn near jumped out of his skin in surprise. The glasses, the moles, the face-- if it weren't for the long hair (which to him looked perfectly natural) he could have sworn he was looking at his brother.]

... Yu... ki... ?

[Please don't tell me there's another version of our world where Yukio and I are girls or something...]

[Alright...Life is officially unfair. How in the world did Rin get out of his uniform that quickly... and still dry for that matter? As a matter of fact where is he?]

This isn't the girl's restroom is it?

[ Despite the girl's uniform, wig, and make up there is no disguising the rather masculine tone.]

... h-holy fuck it really is you. I-- wh-what the hell, bro? Why're you--

[NOPE. Can't do it. Rin just loses it and starts cracking up so hard he can't she stay up. He doubles over, and hits the ground on his knees before falling on his side, absolutely hysterical with laughter.]

M-man I dunno-- I'unno what's worse-- that you're IN THAT to begin with or that you can actually pass as a girl that easily-- HAHAHAHAHAHA! Ohman I can't even breathe! H-hold on man I gotta get a picture!

[Yukio huffed as he clenched his hands into fists. Perhaps it wasn't so bad when he wasn't the only one in drag but all alone? It was really starting to make him even more self aware of how he was looking.]

[Sorry, Yukio, Shiro has heard him swear plenty of times and hasn't called him on it at all. Buuuut Rin isn't going to say anything about that.]

S-sorry, bro...

[Okay, catching breath, pulling in the snorts and the giggles and everything else.]

[There was a lot of things that Bianca has seen during her stay here. She has seen strange creatures called trolls, having issues with getting some stuff because of puzzles, being turned into a kid, and even where people turned into animals!

Which is why she can say that she wasn't too surprised to see a rather familiar looking person at the fountain. But still...]

Uh...Yukio, is that you?

[Still wringing out the excess water from his wig, Yukio glanced up curious as to who was calling out to him.]

Shie- I am sorry... But do I know you Miss?

[...oh.]

N-No, I'm afraid not, but...I think it's best that we find you a towel! We don't want you to get cold here especially in this kind of weather!

Um...[It's difficult isn't it?] if we go to this building, I'm sure we'll find something!

[You do not even know half of it sister, these tight were not meant to get wet. But that towel is sounding rather nice...]

Not to be too much trouble but- where exactly am I? Is there a way to contact any members of True Cross?

Um...I don't know about other members of True Cross but I do know that your b- [Waiiittt a minute here! Hold up!]

W-wait, that does sound familiar! Do you know someone named Rein? You can contact him once you get your towel over in the building! [Whew, close call!] I know that they got some information about Vatheon in general so you can do whatever you want from there?

[Yup, it's difficult talking to someone who you know but don't know who you are]

[After the absolute headache that was his first couple days in Vatheon, Shiro had been hoping to see Yukio at some point. And really, he was glad to see that his wish had been granted, but a girl's uniform? Really?

Shiro wasn't even thinking about the possibility of alternate universes with switched genders and all. He only knew of one Yukio, and that Yukio was male.

But hey, Yukio was wearing an exorcist coat, so maybe there was a reason for all of this.]

Of all the things I expected them to change, uniforms was the last one on my mind.

I'm wearing this for a-

[There was a audible tone of annoyance in his voice but when he got a good look at who was speaking to him, he froze. Shiro... His father was talking to him. His DEAD Father was talking to him as if he was never possessed by Satan and by default died.]

What are you?

[It had to be some sort of trick, it is impossible to be coming face to face him. Father Fujimoto is dead and buried and no amount of wishing and tears would of brought him back. This is nothing more then some sort trick. With that thought in mind Yukio pulls out one of his guns and pointed it at Shiro, determinedly pulling back the safety as a warning.]

[If it were anyone else pointing a gun at him, Shiro would have moved to defend himself. Pull his gun first, dive for cover, disarm the shooter somehow, anything. But this was Yukio, and he wasn't about to hurt his son in any way. Diving for cover might happen if Yukio actually shot, but for now Shiro settles for holding up his hands defensively.]

I know how this looks, but trust me, I was just as confused as you were. I was told that this city can bring people here from anywhere, and any time.

[Even if that time was mere seconds before death.

But Yukio was the rational son, and rational people often had a hard time just believing things. Luckily there was an easy way for Shiro to prove that he wasn't some demon pretending to be a dead human.]

You have holy water on you, right?

I have only one Holy Water grenade.

[Yukio answered as he shifted his shoulders just slightly as he switched his grip so that he can slip one hand into his soaking wet coat to pull out the aforementioned weapon.]

I do not understand how you expect me to trust you with this...

[Yeah no, grenades are not a good idea here. Proving he's human won't help much if he gets exploded too.]

No, no, let's go with something else. I've already been broken and burned today, we don't need to add exploded to that list.

[ So day... he's not sure anymore of the newbie watch. He's still hoping against all hope, most days scrunched up in a nearby bench and waiting for a certain someone to come back. He's painfully optimistic like that.

Lo and behold, the silent coral gods have answered his prayers. Of course, he doesn't know this yet.

His vigils usually have an hour's long lunch break, you see and he's just come back from one. Now, all he sees is a poor sopping thing in the fountain so naturally, he takes it upon himself to come over with towel in hand. ]

Blimey, the city's merciless, isn't it...? S'not right sending a poor young lass in for incarceration and start her off sopping we--

[ Wait a sec. No... no... no way what the hell what is this what's going on? ]

...Yuki...?

[ See those tears? Well... no not really full blown sobbing tears but they're there, beading at the corner of his eyes. Rin told him of the fate that awaited him back home and he's been worried sick ever since. So, he steps forward with a soft disbelieving laugh. ]

S'not really what I was expecting but here you are, right as rain... well... sort of... Here.

[ Still staring though, offering him the towel. ]

Didn't... think I'd see you again, truth be told.

[ Aaaaaand elevator eyes. ]

...what's with the get-up though?

[ Could it be? Was this something he was yet to find out about Yukio? Secret crossdressing hobbies? ]

[There was a certain stiffness around Yukio's shoulders as he looked the other teenager over and accepted the preoffered towel. Who was this guy? Someone in one of his other classes? No... he would of noticed some one with such an odd foreign accent.]

Thank you very much for the towel... But your name seems to have slipped from my mind... Would you please give it to me again?

[ And then... staring. It's a stare of Disbelief. With a capital D. Was he hearing what he was hearing? Yukio was never a kidder. Even with the two of them and Ronald occasionally getting a gib or two out of him, this... this was a little...

So he tries a small smile anyway. ]

Yuki, come on... Just... just a bit of a time away and you've forgotten about me already? You're pulling me along for a ride, aren't you, mate?

[ Please say yes. ]

I would prefer it if you address me as Yukio if you have to be so informal. I do not know you, much less know you well enough to even try to pull you along for any sort of ride.

[There was a rather stiff way with how Yukio responded to Ronald but perhaps it was mostly due to the fact that the other was staring at him. Why is he tearing up?}

[ ...no. No way, why is this happening, he was so sure that Yuki would know him... but that answer just isn't proving him wrong. Yukio would never be the sort to kid about this... to this degree. That hand goes down and he steps back, managing a smile like he usually has on. ]

Sorry 'bout that. Bit silly of me assuming you'd prolly remember the first time you were here. There you are then!

[ Offering a hand, that smile a bit better than earlier. ]

The name's Ronald. Ronald Knox. We knew each other the first time you were here. Dunno why you don't remember really... happens in this city apparently, buggered if anyone knows why.

[Taking a walk is an almost daily endeavor, but best when shared with company. Today, who does the grim reaper have to tag along with but none other than Night, with whom he has gained a new understanding since the recent aging event.

Along the way, he's picked up one of those fresh smoothies a vendor was selling at his fruit cart, a bright red color, with a ripe strawberry pierced through by a bendable straw.

Whatever conversation he'd been embroiled in comes to a dead stop as he notices the familiar soul lingering in the fountain, wearing clothing entirely unlike his usual.]

...Isn't that Yukio Okumura? Look at the fountain.

[ Shiemi's out and about, wandering around and exploring Vatheon when she wanders over towards the fountain -- spotting the girl, she immediately jumps to action, heading there straight to help. ]

Ah, miss? Are you-- o... kay...

[ It's not until she gets a closer look at "her" face that she realizes... hey, is that Yukio...? Or... what... ]

... Y-Yuki-chan...?

[ ... excuse her as her brain breaks completely, the Yukio she knows is not a girl... ]
