[It's that time of the month again, where newcomers arrive in the bubble. This month is no exception, and this time, it looks like Vatheon's troll population is expanding again. This guy isn't the age of any of the current groups, though anyone familiar with Gamzee or the Grand Highblood should be familiar with his horns.

He really does look kind of weird, though. No sign to be seen, clothes with bones on them, weird facepaint and a ton of hair, though the paint is smudged from all the water and his hair is half in his face, as soaked as it is. There's something weird about those black lines across his mouth, too...

Not to mention he's picking people out of the crowd and just staring at them. And staring. And staring.]

[Better the stitches then let people see what he's done to the inside of his mouth! Which... doesn't make him any less creepy.

Kurloz takes the brochure, and reads over it quickly- once, then again. He nods when he's done, then gestures between himself and Darkleer, then makes a circular motion. What other trolls are here? Then, he imitates the ticking hand of a clock and points to Darkleer. This isn't a dreambubble, so time probably works properly here for Darkleer to be able to answer that!]

[It takes him a moment to puzzle out just what the heck he's gesturing about.]

A vast majority of us are present in Vatheon, both children who played the game and their ancestors. We are missing a few, such as the maroonbloods. All around, there are more then twenty trolls in Vatheon.

As for the time, it is the middle of the human's dim season, known as January. I advise not venturing up to the surface. The weather is not particularly kind right now.

Kurloz nods. It's pretty interesting information in general, and he picks up one of the towels to start drying off his hair. Fixing his paint can wait until he can turn his back to this guy. He's not about to go around without it on in front of someone who's essentially a stranger.

Once that's done, he picks up the SFC again. His next question can't really come through properly with mimes.]

[That doesn't particularly endear him to this strange boy. Even he had been somewhat concerned when he realized he wasn't where he was before. Perhaps he's rushing, it's possible. He's gotten wrong first impressions before. There could be a legitimate reason for all he knows.]

[Although he won't rush to tell him of Gamzee's presence here.]

[There's part of his answer. Being dead for a while will do that to you. But the rest of it is just Kurloz. He's not close to mst of the other Beforan trolls, after all, though hiding things from the ones like Aranea can be fun.

Now that his hair is damp instead of just dry, it's slowly returning to it's natural eldritch shape.]

[That doesn't need any answer other than a nod. He'd be more reluctant about giving up the info, but since Darkleer was able to figure it out on his own, it isn't exactly a secret.]

Well that explains some things. Since you already deal with a rather.. peculiar afterlife, then hopefully Vatheon's will not be too hard to believe.

This city is one where death is not permanent, as of yet. Through a combination of the coral and the nurses, those who were dead in their universe are brought back. If one dies here, then they are gone for a few days before being brought back once more. It used to be that simple... However, recently, the Head Nurse has changed that. Any who die and any who kill are punished. The last who tested that latter option was left blind for some amount of time.

[It's not that he's saying this because he's an indigo... except he's totally saying this because he's an indigo. He can't help it. Sweeps and sweeps of working under the Grand Highblood didn't exactly endear him. Even with Gamzee, it took quite a bit of time to relax.]

[Not dying properly? Well, that sounds like a problem. How can you double-die properly if you just come back to life afterward? Fortunately for him, it's hard to tell which part he's frowning about. And his next question certainly doesn't reflect his train of thought.]
