Who: Bitty!Tiir & you!
Where: Somewhere on the streets.
When: Towards the beginning of the curse.
Style: [preferably sob]
Status: Open!
[Rather than what some of the other young children are doing, Tiir doesn't cry when he finds himself in an unfamiliar situation. Once it sinks in that he doesn't know where he is or how he got here (and why is he surrounded by humans?), he pauses—and then it hits him.
And once it does, rather than cry, he screams.
So, anyone passing by will likely see/hear the kid on his knees, eyes glowing red with him clutching his head and screaming as if it were the end of the world. Which it almost is for him, really.]
Why!? Why can't I—!?
[Why can't he hear it? There are humans everywhere, so he should hear the voice, telling him to devour them all—and yet his mind is empty.
Whywhywhywhy—]

Black hair, black clothes, red eyes. Maybe an acquaintance. Or a kin.
And Walter is stepping around, circling the child and standing before him. His boots might come into Tiir's vision, but he says nothing yet. Just waits for the screams to die down, perhaps, or for his presence to be noted.]

His head snaps up, his eyes still glowing brightly as he glares at Walter, his expression a sharp question.
What do you want?]
no subject
Flatly:] How long are you going to sit there? That noise will attract more humans.
no subject
Then I'll kill them.
[There's a brief pause, before he adds:]
Why aren't you afraid?
no subject
He turns aside.]
Feast on the natives if you're inclined to do that. They won't care.
[And he doesn't care what you do.]
no subject
[Though he doesn't move and instead stares at Walter with a guarded look.]
no subject
I'm different.
no subject
[... There's no voice in his head, after all, telling him if this is a lowly human he should devour.]
no subject
Would you believe me?
[It's a slight accusation.]

Shaking his head, more to himself than to Tiir, Walter draws back to leave. This is hardly worth anything.]
no subject
Hey! Hey, mister! You're gonna hurt yourself screaming like that!
no subject
He might be young, but he's far from helpless, at least.]
What do you care?
no subject
You seem upset, is all. It's not fair for anyone to be upset.
no subject
Maybe she's just stupid. Or crazy.]
Like you know anything.
no subject
Hmm...lemme think about that. I'm not the cleverest person you'll ever meet, but I maybe know more than you think.
no subject
Humans always think that.
no subject
Yeah. I guess we do. We kinda suck, huh?
no subject
Weird.
... No, she's probably just trying to trick him—]
What do you want?
no subject
We-ell.. Apart from the boring usual human things to want like food and a hug.. I was wondering why you seem so angry. Is something wrong?
no subject
no subject
He's far from unused to people staring at him.]
If you keep looking at me like that, I'll kill you.
no subject
Why?
no subject
Stop that.
no subject
What's wrong with looking at you?
no subject
If you want me dead, then just try and kill me already.
no subject
You are not my mark.
no subject
H-hey... w-what's wrong? A-are you alright?
[He's concerned.]
no subject
He looks up, glaring.]
Stop that.
no subject
Stop... what?
[He doesn't understand. Did he do something wrong?]
no subject
no subject
[That doesn't change anything. He is still worried.]
no subject
Leave me alone.
no subject
...Will you be okay? On your own?
no subject
He'd been out trying to see if any of the others were affected when he heard the scream, and came running.]
Tiir? What is the matter?
no subject
Sadly, he doesn't, and so at Gale's question he looks at him in a mixture of confusion and his usual contempt.]
... Who are you?
no subject
I am Gale.
no subject
I don't know you.
no subject
[Suspicious staring he can deal with. Mostly by practically ignoring it.]
