[This had to be a curse. It had to be. He'd been controlling it fine, sure the heartbeats of the people around him were louder than usual, but he'd been fine. This was more like he'd starved himself for a month rather than having gotten by on the bloodpacks.
Every person he walked past seemed more like a walking entree than people he cared about and lived with; the blood coursing through their veins was a symphony in his ears and chaos on his brain.
That was why he'd gone to the forest. It wasn't necessarily abandoned, but there were often fewer people around. He at the base of a tree, not trusting himself to not jump on someone if he spotted them from in the tree.
Please, please, please let this be a one day thing and not an all week thing; he wouldn't be able to handle it, otherwise.]

That'd been months ago.
Coming back here didn't have much purpose, not related to that anyway; just something to get him in motion. Sol was lazy, didn't exert more effort than he needed, but he usually had the freedom to go wherever he wanted--wherever his hunt led him. Vatheon had stripped him of that, so the urge to move at least needed to be dealt with.
Finding someone along the way, while not impossible, hadn't really been expected. Nevertheless, finding one sitting at the base of a fir tree wasn't really where he'd figure to find one. Sol wasn't bothered by much, being a veritable furnace, but...
He didn't figure to stop; if the guy wanted to sit up here then that was his deal. Sol didn't care. Had no reason to. Except that there was something off with this guy and it reminded him of that guy... He lingered for a second.
Tch.
He kept moving.]

But he found himself getting up and, in a flash, he was the suave, gentlemanly vampire his race was so known for. He was hunting.]
Do you always walk by a man without saying hello?

All the attitude Johnny pulled together was wasted on Sol; he wasn't the type to stop for a chat or pay much mind to anything he didn't care about, and no amount of personality could get him to stop and start caring. Guy reminded him of the old bloodsucker more and more. Slayer, however, actually had useful things to say from time to time.]

Mmm Probably are....how social you are~ Not even responding when being talked to. That's a good angle to play, people often like the 'Strong and Silent' type; probably has something to do with mystery~
Hooowever~ The downside of not responding is that no one knows what you want or what you're thinking, so they make up their own assumptions and do what they want.
[Like now and how he was following Sol, Hands in his pockets and only about a step behind him.]

He let the odd man follow, not really doing anything to stop or encourage it; maybe if Sol kept ignoring him, he'd go away. Could make all the assumptions he wanted. Sol didn't give a damn.]
