003: And I'm staring down the barrel of a 45...
Who: A fallen Muraki and Vatheon
What: So what happens when a certain someone looses his eye...
When: The third of January, morning
Style: Lazy third but I'll match you
Status: Open like a chest cavity
[ This isn't the first time he's entered the city like this. Of course, the last time saw him soaked to the bone and blood ridden, barely recovering from what seemed to be the beginnings of third degree burns. This time he's actually passed out. The doctor is leaning against the fountain in what appears to be a loose yutaka of elaborate design, his energy levels evidently far lower than they were the last time anyone saw him. If anyone could read the dark energy he usually draws his power from, it's halved. Almost as if it was ripped right from his body.
And perhaps it was.
If one were to take a closer look at the doctor's face, one would see what appears to be blood dripping from his right eye. If one were to pry even closer, one would notice something pretty damn evident: it's hollow. He's left with his good eye. His glass eye? Who knows. At any rate, it won't be glowing any time soon.
So he lies there, half the power he once had and who knows as to how his mental stability is at the moment. The question falls to you, as always.
What do? ]

>Help?
>Prod with a shoe.
Vanitas prods the doctor with his shoe. He recognized that power from that night during he body swap. He was without his helmet and usual armor so if the good doctor awakens from contact, he will find himself staring at a bigger color swapped version of a keybrat.]

He stirs but it isn't any wide movements. Just the barest sign of life. Sora...? but why was the name Sora familiar to him? His memories are hazy. ]
...Who... are you...?
no subject
Vanitas. [Tilting his head to the side as he looked him over.] We've met before.
[Don't mind the not helping thing, right? Sliding his hands in his pockets as he continued to watch. Kind of fascinating seeing someone missing an eye]
no subject
Vanitas... yes, I think I remember... that night when I was testing--
[ A pause. No sense in telling him yet, not when he's still trying to remember how much he knows. ]
Am I back in Vatheon...?
no subject
Drink. I want to see if it'll work on you. [Another pause.] It should heal you enough so you aren't completely drained. It probably won't do anything for that eye.
[It was tempting to poke it.] You are.

[ Riku gave him one a long time ago when he returned the second time. He hasn't touched it though. It sits on the shelf in his apartment, waiting to be studied. ]
It doesn't surprise me that I've been sent back. The city can't seem to make up its mind as to whether it's keeping me or not.
[ He figures that if that's two people from the same world telling him it's medicine, best to see for himself. His body should be immune to most poisons anyway... what's the harm.
So tentative drinking of the potion is a go. ]
no subject
Psyche.]
It probably forgot to get it's gift receipt.
[He observes curiously for any strange glowing or to see the extent of healing it would do. A guest was a much better test subject compared to the locals.]
no subject
I'm afraid there's a no return, no exchange policy...
[ have a smirk from that in response. As for the potion... it doesn't seem to have any evident effects... for now. ]
no subject
Still, he seems at ease otherwise as he stares at the body with a curious expression, talking out loud to himself—]
Should I do something...? It's not as if I know him...
[Though the part of him that's trying not to be ambivalent to most of Vatheon's populace is telling him that it's not a good idea to leave someone lying around, injured. Hmm. What do, indeed...]
no subject
Hey, at least he's alive. ]
no subject
So, with that, he bends down to easily pick Muraki up. Getting him to touch the coral would do him some good...]

no subject
Tiir places him down the ground, before moving one of Muraki's hands to touch the coral.]
Come now, wake up.
no subject
...where...?
no subject
Vatheon.
[Now's not the time for new arrivals, so he's likely not one. Though, with that said, until Tiir decides how much he's willing to like him, it's not as if he feels inclined to be particularly helpful either.]
no subject
[ There's a soft groan as he attempts to stand on shaky legs, placing his hand on the coral to further draw energy from it. ]
I see... [ A low chuckle. ] It hasn't had enough of me.
no subject
It would seem that way.
[Well, not like he can't empathize, having also returned to Vatheon bloody and wounded before, though perhaps he cheats, what with having regenerative abilities.]
It appears that it's taken you from an inconvenient time as well—or perhaps convenient, depending on your circumstances.
no subject
[ The last time he was thrown in, it was with third degree burns. ]
I'm sorry... I don't believe we've met.
no subject
[It leaves him rather impatient to return home, at least.]
Tiir Rumibul.
no subject
A pleasure to meet you, Mister Rumibul. I take it you've had the city taking you at those inopportune times?
no subject
[Saying something like that is enough for him to feel a bit awkward—acting so familiar with someone who could potentially be a human—but he ignores it.]
And yes. Twice now, including my first arrival.
no subject
Dr. Muraki, you need help! [She kneels next to him to check for his vitals, but is quite worried about his empty eye socket.]
no subject
Doctor Durless...?
[ It's the faintest hint of a voice from him, like it's taking far more effort to speak if anything. ]
no subject
It's me... We must get you to the clinic as soon as possible... Your wounds need to be cleaned and tended properly.
no subject
Well, he hasn't noticed that bit yet. He shakes his head once in an attempt to clear the cobwebs from his hazy memory. ]
I feel fine...
no subject
[Can he not heal that on his own?]
no subject
[ He reaches up, hand moving to lightly trace what feels like dried blood on his cheek. He follows it up, placing it over his now empty eye. ]
...my eye... where...
[ It's not here, Captain obvious. It's back home. Your BFF ripped it out. ]
no subject
Please, allow me to help you... [Aww, she's worried.]
no subject
Good going. ]
I'm alright... how... how long have I been gone?
no subject
I am not sure... It seems around one week...
no subject
[ He shakes his head. He honestly has no idea how long it's been for him. ]
I'd hate to ask a favor of a lady but could you help me back to the clinic?
no subject
[She nods.]
I will do as best as I can, Dr.
no subject
[ A small frown. ]
Weeks... intriguing.
no subject
Indeed.
no subject
But he straightens up, adjusting his clothes as he does before turning his attention back to her. ]
...would you mind very much if I asked for help with my eye?
no subject
no subject
He walks until he is hovering over the doctor, and looks down at him with contempt.]
no subject
But now you get to see what happened after. He groans as he stirs, clearly labored as his good eye opens half lidded. ]
Come... to see the spoils of your labor?
no subject
I see, so it was me who did this to you? It's a shame I didn't manage to kill you, then...
no subject
You owe Tsuzuki-san a commendation for the number he's done on me and my laboratory.
no subject
I believe he would much rather prefer I did not comment on that topic at all. You better leave him alone, Muraki...
no subject
And is he still here...? It would be a pity if I was brought back only to find that he's left us indefinitely.
no subject
This is none of your concern. [And he shall not tell you either that Hisoka is here.]
no subject
I'm afraid you'll find that it most certainly is my concern... even more now.
no subject
no subject
[ There's a certain strangeness in the way he's smirking though. It's even more twisted than usual. ]
We haven't seen the last of each other yet, Tatsumi-san.
no subject
Unfortunately not...
no subject
Not as long as this coral seems to be fond enough of me to keep bringing me back.
no subject
Maybe it shall send us home next time instead.
