Pascal What Are You Doing? Why? Why?
Who: Hubert Ozwell and Pascal(???)
When: Morning of 24th Dec
Where: Central Plaza
Style: Action or Prose!
Status: Closed (at least for now)

'Twas the morning before Christmas, and all through Hubert's flat /
Not a creature was stirring, certainly not that cat.
She looked like Pascal with red tips on white fur /
And resting on a bed that for sure wasn't hers.
'Twas soon Hubert would wake up and get quite a shock /
As a magical kitty came in with no stock.
But then the narrator, he ran out of rhymes /
As Hubert woke up, at his usual time....
(OOC: Pascal is presently a Strong Magical Creature, like those in Soul Eater, thanks to the current curse. And chose to sneak up and crash on Hubert's bed while in cat form.)

So it should have been just another morning in Hubert's house. Should have been. But as recent weeks had proven for the young Lieutenant, things were apparently not allowed to be normal.
He stirred quietly, sitting up with a yawn after a short time. He almost missed the furry little lump on his bed, but it was foot that knocked in to the feline.
"... what--?"
After a fumble for his glasses, he managed to spot what he'd touched.
"... a cat? How did you get in here?"
no subject
The cat blinked, waking up from the nudge, and looking up at Hubert.
"Nyaaaa?"
... The tone almost made it seem like she wasn't sure how she got in herself.
Which of course couldn't be the case, she must have slipped in somehow.
And why did the tone remind Hubert more of Pascal meowing than a normal cat?

He sat up, rubbing at his eyes under his glasses before reaching out a tentative hand out to the feline.
"Well I can't say I was expecting company this morning, but I'm not opposed to cats..."
no subject
As Hubert's hand approached, the cat seemed to doze off.
"Cats... Are nice..."
That was definitely Pascal's voice.

"P... Pascal?!"
no subject
"... Yeah, Hu?"
The cat's eyes blinked open, as she streched visibly.

"Wait, wha..."
Pascal scratched herself a little, as if testing her paws.
"... So I am. Huh."
no subject
He sighed, rubbing the bridge of his nose.
"I seem to be otherwise unaffected at least..."
He hadn't noticed the strange pistol on his bedside table yet.
no subject
"... I can think of worse. Actually... Huh. Now I think about it, I might now how to change back? Sorta. It's... Well, I'm not entirely sure how to describe it. Like I know something, but don't?"
no subject
He stopped rather suddenly, becoming acutely aware that... well. Felines don't wear clothes.
"... on... second thought perhaps you should return home first."
no subject
"Oh, don't worry about that! I think."
And then... A puff of smoke, and Pascal was now on top of Hubert, fully clothed and looking much like normal besides a rather prominent pair of cat ears.
"See!"
no subject
"Well. I'm glad to see you have a handle on your... new form."
no subject
"So that wasn't a dream I was having last night where I woke up, was suddenly a cat, and decided to head over to your house. Weird."
no subject
"I suppose since you're here, I'll go ahead and make us some coffee..."
no subject
"Y'okay!", Pascal said... Finally thinking to shift off of Hubert so he could get up.
no subject
"Do you want anything else? I could make breakfast."
no subject
"... You know. Now that I'm a cat, I wonder if I'm supposed to change my diet."
no subject
"I highly doubt a week of normal food is going to cause that much trouble, all things considered."
Though he had to wonder if being partially feline might give her more inclination to bathe herself.
no subject
"... Wait. Aren't cats allergic to bananas?"
no subject
So that you may have to change, yes. But that said, a temporary change in your own diet certainly won't kill you."
And with that in mind, he pulled out a pack of bacon and a few other breakfast items.
"Meat would suit a feline better anyway."
no subject
"Aw."
Pascal couldn't help but look interested as the bacon came out, though. Clearly, her stomach was betraying her look of disappointment.

"Right, right," she said, obviously still a little down about that. "Thanks, Hu."
no subject
Some one that isn't Cheria, who likely had her own curse-week stresses to deal with.
