You Naughty Devil
Who: Guy and way too many women
Where: Various!
When: Every curse day but Tuesday.
Style: [Action], please.
Status: Semi-closed - message me if you'd like to join the chaos!
"You would never be called this unless it was a joke. The title itself is a mystery. Is it mysterious to defy mystery?"
[Why hello there, miss. First time with a curse? That's alright, the Amazing Guy is here to boost your morale! It might seem uncomfortable, but cheer up. It'll only last the week, and you're bound to get at least one new acquaintance out of the adventure! See, you've already met him~
Steady your patience, keep your hands to yourself and he's bound to have some genuinely interesting conversations with you. ...No, really, p-please, he knows you're probably very nice but he really can't bother for a handshake right now, even without the curse. Ah, n-no, hey, stay back...!
Ah well. The man has his manners, despite how awkward he might seem. But manners can't guard the overly-friendly who find nothing wrong with a hug. Or someone who'd like a drink delivered by hand in the Host Club And that cobblestone has been known to trip one or two people up from time to time. And he might not be watching where he's walking, head buried in a book or an armful of things he's found at the Nostalgia Nook.
...]
[[ooc: This is a catch-all for Guy and the various girls he is (regrettably) getting stuck to this week. Feel free to mention which day you'd prefer, and if you want me to set the scenario, just ask!]]

Monday Morning - Zelda
Zelda will find a message on her SFC around 9am.]
Up for a late lunch?
Let me know if you're busy. If not, feel free to meet me at the elevator at 1! Make sure to bring a jacket.

[Sure enough, she shows up exactly on time. Since the bubble is climate controlled, she never bothered to pick up any winter clothing the year before and she had to go out and get something, pairing a plain turtleneck with a mid-calf skirt and some very thick tights. Horrendously informal as far as she's concerned, but it will just have to do.]
I hope you weren't waiting!
no subject
[And he's super excited to see her! He hasn't really strayed much as far as what he's wearing - a button-up of a forest green, already matched up with a lighter coat and what the store clerk had called "khakis", still well fit. Naturally, he'd gone with as thin a leg as he could manage - outside what he wore to sleep, he didn't particularly enjoy loose clothing. It wasn't very functional that way, anyways.
He's got a large thermos in one hand and a basket against the crook of his elbow, as well as a scarf tucked around his arm. You never know.]
It's a little on the chilly side up there, but it was pretty refreshing this morning. I figured we could spend an hour or two up there before the weather takes a turn, if that's alright. [He lifts the thermos with a grin.] I brought chai.

I don't mind it if it's a bit cold. I can always enhance the sun a little if we need it.
[She just likes going out with Guy in general, really. The princess brightens when he mentions the tea.]
Oh! I've only had that once or twice before. It's quite good!
no subject
[But seriously, steeping the stuff this morning had made his kitchen smell pretty amazing, so he's sure it'll be fine. Seeing her excited about it just makes the choice feel a little more worthwhile, and he can't help but grin a little wider.
The Station Master seems to have already been alerted and waiting at the elevator. Guy cocks his head in the general direction as he starts to walk.]
Enhancing the sun... I don't know if we'll need it, but how do you do that, exactly? Is it the same magic you use with rain? [Magic he still doesn't even begin to understand, by the way - it's like a fonic arte with a tune and no verse to anchor it. How in the world did that even work??]
no subject
That's right. The Sun's Song strengthens the influence of light in the general area. If played on the Ocarina, it might even be capable of controlling the time of day. It's quite a powerful little tune.
[She doesn't just mean any ocarina, of course, but specifying which ocarina doesn't come naturally to her.]
no subject
[It would make sense, if it directly affected sunlight in particular.
He gingerly steps to the side, letting Zelda enter the elevator first before following right behind her, a quiet "thank you" offered to the Station Master in the process.]
An ocarina is an instrument, I take it? So what makes it different?
no subject
Oh! I apologize, I was referring to one ocarina in particular - the Ocarina of Time. As one would suspect, it is capable of controlling the flow of time. Pair that with the Sun's Song and it stands to reason that a person might be able to change the flow of day and night. I'm fairly certain Link did it once back in Hyrule.
[She pauses when she realizes that she didn't simply call Hyrule "home" automatically. Huh...]
...you know, Guy, it has been a year since we arrived in this place. As of yesterday for you, in fact.

Thursday Afternoon
Perhaps that was why she was out here in the plaza on this day, knowing full well what the risks were and what could happen. She'd gone out to run a few errands, with a promise to Shing that she would let him know if anything happened and she couldn't make it home in a timely manner, and so far, everything was going well.
In fact, it was only going to get better! In her optimistic mind, that was. She caught sight of someone she hadn't seen around for some time! And it was with the excitement of seeing an old acquaintance in mind that she headed toward Guy when she saw him that day. ]
Hey there! Long time no see!
[ She smiled brightly at him, offering a friendly little wave in his direction as part of her greeting. ]
no subject
...Oh wait, hey, he knows you!]
Kohaku! Haha, hey~ [Let him just finish this last adjustment-- he's not ignoring you, he swears.] We haven't really talked in a while, have we? How're you managing?
no subject
[ She trailed off at that. There had been a lot that had happened since she last saw Guy, but she wasn't about to bore him with the details unless he really wanted to know. ]
How about you? How have you been?
no subject
I take it they haven't been doing too well for you, though?
[Call it a hunch, but that statement of hers was pretty vague, and he's not really objected to poking around a little to see what was on her mind.]
no subject
[ She laughs a little, nervously. Was she that transparent? ]
It's had both good and bad in it. Mostly good. Some bad. That's gonna be normal anywhere, right?
[ The bad was still obviously bothering her. Enough that she wanted to avoid the subject, but would definitely talk about it if prodded enough. ]
no subject
[If she doesn't want to talk about anything, then that's alright! He's all for keeping a lady comfortable.]
Hope you haven't gotten stuck to anyone grumpy this week. I'm pretty sure that would ruin anyone's day.
no subject
[ A big, emotional one. Her expression quickly changes as soon as he makes that comment, though. She giggles a little at the thought. ]
I'd probably drive the grumpy ones insane, actually! That's always a ton of fun.
[ She's talking about you, Walter. And of course, she doesn't mean that she drives them literally insane. ]
I could have sworn I answered this weeks ago... SORRY TACO.
[He doesn't seem to be judging in the least - if anything, he seems pretty amused.]

It's Friday Friday~
It was there was she saw an old friend of hers that she hadn't seen in a while!]
Hey, Guy, is that you over there!
no subject
Cordial manners often trump that, however, and Bianca's greeting is no exception. He'd been running a little behind this particular morning, so he'd taken up his energy meter and gone to fetch a quick reading. His hands completely occupied, he only manages an awkward attempt at a wave, although his expression stays warm.]
Bianca, hey--! Yeah, I'm just checking up on something. What are you up to?
no subject
[As she got a little closer, she noticed that he was a bit busy.]
Hey...do you need help with that? [With that, she walks closer and gave her hand out to him]
no subject
[---ffffff.
Guy's words cut off with a bit of a choking sound as Bianca extends a hand closer to him, eyes going wide. He scrambles backwards a few steps, fumbling over his grip on his machine in the process in an attempt to press his back to the coral. It's only for a few seconds, but he sure does look vividly terrified of the girl in front of him.]
no subject
Guy, what's wrong? I didn't do anything to make you scared right?
no subject
I-I-I just... i-it's not you, I m-mean, it's n-not your fault--
[SPUTTER.
Alright, no, time to get a hold of himself. She's staying her distance, so maybe he can try and straighten up a little more...]
--Y-you didn't do anything wrong, n-no. Don't worry about it. Please...
no subject
Then what is it?
[She took a small step forward and then...whoops, there she goes and accidentally trips near him. Hope you don't mind Bianca clinging to your arm a bit Guy!]

Wednesday (super backtagging powers!)
All she'd been out to do was just. Run a couple of errands. That's all! Just. A few things! Just a book, an assortment of ingredients for meals for the next two or three days, half an outfit--typical things, really.
But no. No, she had to just. Find some way to go and drop everything everywhere and just why her?! With a groan, Sheena goes to start picking up the scattered bags and their contents, complaining under her breath about stupid tripping and stupid underwater bubble-town and can't Undine just somehow come here and get her out...
...But she ends up having to chase a lemon. Down the way she'd been going, until it launches off some deformation or something (she doesn't care enough to look right now, she has a runaway fruit!), and Sheena ends up only catching it after hopping from point A to land at point B by the coral! In the plaza.
Yes, ninja jumping to catch a lemon, shut up it works, okay?! Hff!
...Though she might have made a spectacle of herself, but then that's gotta be kinda normal if there are other people with magic and stuff around, right?]
Man, it just follows me everywhere...
[She should ask magic users at some point if there are any spells to get rid of "really bad luck".]
Backtagging forever!
W-w-whoa, geez, where did you come from???
