[How have the animals affected Amaterasu and her usual antics? Not much at all, if her trotting about with Kurow in tow today is any indication. The animals are occasionally herded away from mischief, but the two of them seem more interested in a more competitive pursuit.

Ammy will be trotting about, attempting to win over the local ladies with cute whines and dirty tricks such as rolling onto her back to get belly rubs. She’s quite a smash hit, especially with the younger girls! Kurow, on the other hand, gravitates to older ladies of a more refined appearance. With a raised chin, he floats on over and tosses his hair as he speaks confidently, but the fruits of his efforts are varied by the fact that 1) he's short (that's not classy at all) and 2) he's too young to leave that sort of impression. But hey, they must consider his antics cute, because most of them stop to humor him—and for that, he's far from being discouraged.

They seem to pause, at times, to talk to one another about their triumphs (but never their failures), having a typical boasting contest as most boys do about impressing girls. There are opportunities, naturally, to approach the two and ask them more directly what they’re doing... or, of course, if you’re a pretty lady, you’re very likely to be approached first. I mean, why mess with plain old animals when you can chill with a totally cool sun goddess dog? Oh and that cute but weird blonde kid, that too.]

Kurow's face brightens at the smile regardless as he continues to focus his attention on Angelina.]

Yes, in my country we have a custom to drink tea every afternoon. We sometimes offer tea parties, especially among lady friends.

[Kurow glances at Amaterasu, shrugging. He doesn't think too hard on that kind of stuff.]

[Anyway, back to the pretty lady.]

That's a lotta tea, but I bet none of those lady friends are as gorgeous as you!

[She pets Ammy some more.]

[Back to Kurow.] Indeed, we drink quite a bit of tea. [And then she giggles at his last comment.] Aren't you a gallant young man?

[Oh hoh, trying to win her affections? Well, Ammy just shoots Kurow a smug grin. Let's see how you handle this one, fly-boy!]

[Not fair, just your pressure nabs you a million pets! But fine, he's got this. Watch him; he's positively sparkling here.]

What can I say? Someone would have to be crazy not to tell a lady how magical she is!

[She giggles a bit and Kurow just earned a kiss on the cheek.]

But oh. He's too busy reveling in that kiss (and positively melting, if the way he's wavering on his feet is indication) to pay Ammy any mind, his face heating up from the contact.]

[Angelina accepts the flowers that are proudly offered to her by Ammy. That earns the goddess a rub behind the ears.]

[She smiles sadly at Kurow.] I am afraid I have not been very lucky with partners. I used to have a husband at home, but he passed away in an accident... [Also losing her unborn child.] And here... I was seeing someone, but this world decided it was time to send him home...

Kurow lowers his head, scratching it as he attempts to salvage the lighter mood. Or at the very least, console her if he can't.]
