Well, this city's only so large, and a lot of areas are honestly kind of boring, so...

It's not really meant to be exciting. Aside from being underwater, it's a fairly average city otherwise.

You can just as easily put some of that energy to being productive. I'm sure your inventions can assist people here, and even a regular job can't be too much for some one like you.

... I... Actually have never put much thought to that. A job like what's done in most of the world, I mean.

It's kind of a long story, but in short, because I kept making successful developments and starts of developments and such, the Enclave just kinda kept passing me food and stuff so I could focus on new developments. The only time I even had to deal with money was when they passed me stipends when I was doing field work.

I guess I do kinda have to think about that now, huh...

I didn't get handouts from my father, if that's what you're asking.

... I was paid a decent amount once I rose high enough in the ranks. Enough to live modestly on.
