[OPEN] Soldier On--
Who: Serph and YOU
Where: The Park
When: November 14th, afternoon
Style: [brackets] preferred, but I can adjust
Status: WIDE OPEN
[It's been quite some time since Sera's departure, and since then, there have been others -- both Tribe and friends -- who have left Vatheon and not returned. Serph doesn't know if they'll return. Maybe they will. Maybe they won't. In the end, the decision isn't in his hands.
Before, there hadn't been time for these departures to affect him.
Which is why he's in the park, kicking a hacky sack. Signless had taught him the game when he'd noticed Serph watching him, so many months ago. In some ways, this is an imitation of that time; while Serph's content to play on his own, he's more than happy to play with people passing by.
Will you join in?]

It helps train control.
[As he will demonstrate by juggling the ball between using the inside and outside of his foot.]
You try.
[And he kicks the hacky sack over in an easy arc towards Silver.]

He'll catch it with his foot with a scowl then kick it back.] More like it's just a waste of time.

[Is that a hint of challenge in Serph's voice?]
Without coordination, your team will always lose.
[Okay okay so he's kind of bullshitting but there's truth to his words. After all, his Tribe had always been the smallest and weakest of the ruling Tribes, but their coordination and skill had been what kept them alive.]

Then me and sneasel'll take you on. [Because they do have the coordination to win.
only not, because he'll still.. working on that with some of his pokemon, go figure]no subject
Only you two?
[But Serph tosses the hacky sack at the sneasel the moment the creature appears.]
tbh i don't actually know more than the basic of hacky sack.
[The sneasel's more on the ball than Silver, catching it with a foot before tossing it it's master's way. Silver hmphs, catches it with his foot then tosses it back to the pokemon, possibly with more force than needed.
Still, the pokemon manages to catch it on it's head and return it to Serph.]
me too! and some other people in this post lmao
Anyone can coordinate two. The larger the group, the more difficult it is to control.
[Serph stays still... until the very last moment he catches the hacky sack on the top of his foot and immediately launches the ball at Silver in a low arc.]
Re: me too! and some other people in this post lmao
[His reflexes are good, but not that good. He manages to catch it again, but only just before passing it to his sneasel. The pokemon catches it and gives it one bounce on it's foot before throwing it back at Silver.
Who misses it.] Stupid thing. [Yea no, not happy with his sneasel, if that glare is any indication.]

It doesn't take him long to return, lightly tossing the hacky sack a few times with his hand -- a silent indication that he's about to start the game again -- before tossing the hacky sack to Silver this time.]
