It's that time again, everyone. The time of the month when people start arriving into Vatheon, and Mithos hasn't given up hope, yet. Ever since Colette told him Martel could arrive here, Mithos has spent one week of every month waiting for her, for the coral to bring her here to him, to reunited them as he's so desperately wanted for four thousand years.
The mist was thick. Mithos had long since shut off his SFC, not caring to listen to all the illusions everyone was seeing. If it wasn't for the fact that angels didn't get cold or hot, he'd be shivering right now. His was seated on his park bench, his knees drawn up to his chest, his arms crossed underneath them just below his Cruxis Crystal.
He barely heard the voice, at first. "Mithos..." He had thought he had fallen asleep, and was dreaming. When he looked up, he finally saw her. But she looked... wrong. Distant. Not making eye contact with him, her eyes shaded by her hair. "S-sis...?" Mithos asked. The sky was darkening already, perhaps a part of the illusion. Mithos could already feel tears of joy welling up in his eyes. "Mithos... what have you done?" she asked.
"Sis, what are you talking about? You're here now, we're--" "Mithos, stop." His breath caught in his throat. What-- what was she talking about? "All of those people you killed... all of those innocent humans... everyone you've hurt... why?" Mithos's heart felt like it stopped. The color drained from his face. He was frozen in place, thinking he was about to wake up from some horrific nightmare. Was... was Martel really...?
"Your silence says everything, Mithos. It wasn't for me. It was your own hatred. You've betrayed everything the four of us fought for. You've become that which you've always hated the most." Martel then turned on her heel, and began walking back towards Lamufao. Mithos' hands balled into fists. He wasn't breathing, and his head was spinning. His sister... his sister just turned her back on him. She called him a traitor. No better than a human. Martel continued walking away, towards Lamufao. She suddenly raised her hand to the coral, and vanished into thin-air, leaving her brother behind. The mist broke, and the 'sun began coming up. Mithos could feel a cold sweat dripping down his face, though it was hard to tell if it was sweat or tears.
Mithos had never felt more profoundly alone than he did in that very moment. His eyes were wide, staring at the coral. "She... she couldn't--" he managed to choke out. No. This was a trick. His sister would never turn her back on him like that. He could have wiped all life on the planet and she'd still love him, he'd still be her little brother.
Someone had better stop him before he does something stupid. That utter despair he was feeling was quickly being replaced by anger and rage.

Good morning... Are you alright?
no subject
Please stop him. ]
no subject
No, do not do that! You will get hurt!
no subject
It doesn't matter. Nobody lies about my sister like that.
no subject
[Is he being affected by a curse?]
no subject
T-the coral. It-- she rejected me. She would never do that.
no subject
That must just be an illusion... Do not believe it. The coral must be trying to decieve you...
no subject
[ He's just getting even more angry now. ]
no subject
[She watches what he will do.]
no subject
I can't let the coral get away with it.
no subject
[She has no powers to stop him, so she'd also die if she tried.]
[ 1/2 ]
[ 2/2 ]
Whatever. I'm not going to destroy the only thing that can bring her here, or send me home. But I'm not going to be forgetting this any time soon.
no subject
You must really miss her...

I am sorry about it. Us humans, we are selfish beings... [Sighs. She can't help but thinking of all the prostitutes who went to her for an abortion back in London. But that is not something young Mithos needs to hear.]

no subject
But how do you intend to make us change?
no subject
[ Yeah. He actually has enough power to do that. ]
no subject
Will you make us humans into your own species? Or just... kill us all?
no subject
[ Just... not the same kind of angel he is. He still has his emotions, and is several times more powerful than the 'usual' angels. ]
no subject
Does this mean everyone will die? Or we'll just become angels?

"Mithos? What is it?"
no subject
"The coral... lied. About Martel."
no subject
"It is just a curse. It shows you things you fear."

"We cannot afford to damage this coral. We have worked to bring back Martel for thousands of years. Please, have some patience. Do not destroy the one thing that may be able to bring her back safely."

"From my understanding, the coral may just be a power source. It is the scientists of this place that toy with us. I have not yet discovered where they are hiding, but I believe they may be the ones deserving punishment here."
no subject
Kratos was lucky he could actually get through to him like that.
no subject
Not unlike being in a human ranch...

If Martel isn't brought here soon... well... Mithos isn't sure how much more of this he can take without a way to blow off steam. He's a ticking time bomb, and he came very close to exploding just now. By some miracle, Kratos was around to talk him down. But someday, sometime, it won't be enough.
