Birthday Party!

When: Tuesday, starts out in the evening and lasts until late at night.
Where: The Island, at the beach.

[Tidus had planned on throwing Roxas' party on his actual birthday. Then, stuff happened. Then other stuff. Now, finally, Roxas' very late "surprise" birthday party is being thrown. Telling Roxas that he just wants to hang out on the Island, everyone else is informed of the party before they get there.

As characters approach, there's a banner hanging that says: HAPPY 16th BIRTHDAY ROXAS. Glowsticks decorate the area where the party is taking place. There's enough for anyone to take some and use them if they want! Some catchy, danceable music plays in the background, and to the side is the table with (alcohol free for the time being) refreshments and snacks, Roxas' sea-salt ice cream cake still in a cooler until later. On the opposite side, is a table for birthday presents, which will can be opened anytime Roxas wants. Since the weather is decent, a projector has been set up on the beach to play an action adventure, fishpun-free movie later.

Games will go on during the party too, including sardines (which will take place more inland), pictionary and anything else anyone might think of. In case anyone wanted to play sports, there are also a few balls lying around, along with the closest thing Tidus could find to struggling bats.

[Okay, it takes Roxas some tearing and scrabbling to unwrap this thing. And then another few moments before he figures out what it is and his eyes widen a bit.

It's not exactly like anything he had, but it reminds him of his room. Well, not his real room, but the one he had in Twilight Town.]

It should come with instructions, or something. Since we can't always see the sky, or it's cloudy, uh...now you can, whenever.

Sunsets can be really pretty. What else do you like?

Yeah, whatever comes to mind.

Well, there's- ice cream.

But it tastes better when you eat it with friends. I- think I'd like pretty much anything if it was with friends.

I think so too. Everything's just better that way. Would you really like anything with friends?

I dunno. There's a lot of stuff I've never tried. But- I think so.

Try them and find out. Was there anything you've wanted to try?

[Roxas thinks for a moment over some of the things he's heard about.]

Well- Kairi was gonna teach me how to play blitzball.

[Kind of a longshot but maybe if the other Tidus plays it, this one knows about it, too?]

I don't know much about it. She said it was like water soccer or something.

Yeah. I've been playing all my life. What's soccer? It's really fun. Maybe we can even get a team together!

I think it's this game where you kick the ball around...

[Yeah, he's not too clear on soccer either.]

You think anyone else knows how to play?

I don't know. Maybe. We can ask, and if not...the concept itself is easy to explain.

I'm sure Sora and Hayner'd be up for trying it.

That's a good start. But we'll need a name...

Umm. I don't know if I'm good with names.

We'll figure out something. Maybe the...Bubble...Fiends.

[He was about to say maybe they could ask Sora or Hayner, but... Somehow he doesn't think they'll do any better. Who names a raft "Excalibur"?]
