10: Shedding skin is easier than most people suspect.
Who: Anthony J. Crowley and YOU.
Where: Hanging on a tree in the park
When: All day, man.
Style: Any you want!
Status: OPEN LIKE YOUR HEART TO TEMPTATION i mean what
[So, Vatheonites and new arrivals, you might be wandering around the park, exploring all it has to offer, when you might come across a tree in the middle of the clearing. For some reason, this area is quiet- no birds sing, no squirrels chatter. The tree just stands there, looking rather ordinary.]

[And hanging from a branch of this tree is something long and vivid green. A small snake. Which is odd, because if you've been in Vatheon before, you probably haven't seen any snakes around here.]
[It just sits there, red tongue flicking out lazily every so often. Approach it? Try to pet it? Talk to it? See what happens. Crowley won't bite...if you don't make him angry, that is.]
[ooc: Anthony J. Crowley is in his snake form and hanging out in the park, basically, because he is the Serpent of Eden and he does what he wants. And yes, he can speak. Just not yet, because scaring you all is a much better use of his time than just acting dumb. People who can detect demonic powers and such will be able to tell that he isn't just an ordinary snake. B)]

[He stares at the hand slightly before inching up, but still suspicious enough not to wrap around it just yet. Being a snake meant you had a whole set of vulnerabilities to remember, including the ability to be tossed into a wall or another such heavy object without any effort at all.]
Crawly. [A pause.] Yourssssss?
no subject
[ Snakes didn't do well with crows, did they? No matter how gentle the facade. But that hand is drawn away. ]
Sebastian will do.
[ It's not his true name but even between demons, a name was a powerful thing. Thanks for the easy loophole, Ciel. ]
I don't quite recall crossing one such as yourself in the past. But you are rather familiar.
no subject
[He turns his gaze away from the hand to Sebastian's face, yellow staring into red.]
Hmmm. I think I've heard of that name before. But yesssssss, I feel the same way...
no subject
[ Meeting those eyes with a measure of curiosity now. ]
And just how long have you been here, I wonder.
no subject
[It almost looks like he's smirking now.]
I don't know, guesssssss.
no subject
[ And that's met with a smirk back. ]
I'd wager far longer than I'd remember given the nature of this city.
[ A beat. ]
So. What brings a creature such as yourself here at such an hour?
no subject
[If snakes could shrug, he would be shrugging now.] Things. People to see, people to observe...I'm just terribly bored, you see.
no subject
[ There's a small chuckle though. ]
I can only imagine. In the confines of this city, I suppose I can consider myself fortunate my young master has been brought back. He does keep me busy most times.
no subject
Does he know? [A cock of his scaly head.] Are you his servant or something?
no subject
[ There's a finger to his upper lip as he considers this, tilting his head just so. ]
I'm afraid I'm at no liberty to speak of the details. However, it seems he's forgotten the time he spent here, curious situation as it is.
no subject
[A nod at that. He knew that too well.] People who go home and come back sometimes do that. It happens.
no subject
[ As he heard. It's starting to bother him a bit, just how much power this city had to be able to freely draw demons into it and control them just so. He's not used to it. ]
I see. And has this happened to you?
no subject
[He somehow manages to smile widely, looking quite devilish for a moment, before shaking his head.]
No. Never went back home. I've been here for well over a year. But time flies when you're having fun, right?
no subject
[ Still none too fond of snakes though. ]
I suppose this isn't the last I'll be seeing of you? This isn't quite the sprawling city, after all.
