[GV] - 4 - Whatever happened to my Transylvania twist?

If anyone recalls the booth setup at the shindig on the first the interior of the club matches that theme but to a grander scale. Jack-o-lanterns grace each table, all hand carved with creepy or silly faces. Fake spider webs and mummy bandages drape from light fixture to light fixture and rubber bats and ghosts dangle from various places on the ceiling and walls. It's all in spooky fun!

Per usual the rules are posted on a clear sign at the door and below it lies the employee roster. There's the addition of a new member of the staff this month! Not to mention a new notice at the bottom.

This month the hosts all are dressed up in costumes of their own choices! Some may be creepy, some funny, and some just might not even try that hard. It doesn't seem like Zelos is policing the outfits all that closely this time around.

[While working at the bar, Malik has opted for a work casual look. His idea of a costume was to dress up as a detective. Complete with sunglasses (inside) and fashionable hat. Whether it is in the spirit of the festivities or to keep his identity secret is unclear.]

Appointment thread - Zelos Wilder

[For all the ups and downs last month, Zelos is seemingly back to usual form now. This time in an incubus costume, complete with little horns, wings, and a tail to prevent any further incident with fashion-conscious Trolls. There's home-made pumpkin cookies and delicious warm apple cider gracing his table. Care to join him?]

[It isn't that Ky per se intends to visit the host club, but he is feeling a little restless and it's that that brings him to the host club, ears pricked up and tail gathered in his hand to make sure he doesn't hit it against anyone accidentally.]

[Actually he has something he needs to speak to him about in regards to the Defense Force but with Ky looking so anxious - yes, he looks anxious - Zelos decides it can wait.]

[The other host club members or anyone who's a regular can probably tell Roxas is much more at ease than last month. Part of this is due to the fact that, well, the club members are actually wearing shirts and stuff instead of revealing swimwear.

But his mood is also in a large part thanks to Sora being around again. The host club is just more fun with his Other.

The pair of them are decked out in appropriate Halloween Town garb, ready for any guests~]

[ If Sora had been awake for the swimsuits he might not have minded it as much as his twin did. Alas there's no going back to the past so he'll have to make of these moments while he is awake!

[ He grins as he looks around at all the other patrons that are wandering around the host club. He liked doing things like this, and he wasn't nearly so antsy now that he was in something more comfortable.

[ There was a bowl of candy on their table, reaching forward, Sora took a red one and popped it into his mouth before gasping. ]

Hot! [ Someone could have warned him there were cinnamon candies in there. ]

[It was awkward, Sora. They were all dressed for the beach but there was no beach. Just sitting around and flirting with no shirts on.

Roxas gives a small start at Sora's reaction.]

[Tifa's been meaning to check out the host club since Rin told her about it just about a month ago, but things have been so hectic since that she's only getting around to it now.

She doesn't seem unsure of herself exactly, but she doesn't seem convinced this is a place she wants to be either. She's not sure exactly what's up with the decor, but it looks innocent enough, she supposes...]

[If she's near the bar while Malik is working, he would offer her a drink. He looks a little suspicious with his sunglasses and hat, but the manly baritone eminating from underneath is quite polite.]

[Serph's hours in the (g)host club have been severely reduced because of the situation with Riffael, but even he needs time to unwind. To think, and he thinks better when talking with others. He's one of the hosts who hasn't tried very hard to match the theme, but that might be because he was just told to be something scary, and he doesn't need a costume for that.

Which basically means he's wearing the same thing he always wears.

Serph recognises the woman as one of the respondents to his announcement over the SFC, and since no one else has assisted her yet, he approaches, giving her a nod in greeting.]

Welcome.

[He makes a gesture to the currently unoccupied tables in the room and spare seats at the bar. One table has couches for seats, while another has more practical looking chairs. Both tables have tea and light snacks.]

[Of course as far as Tifa knows, his outfit is a costume. She doesn't know Halloween and not all of the costumes are any kind of monster. She's a little surprised to see him here, though.]

[Zelos happens to just be lounging around at his table not so much drinking as smelling a cup of heavily spiced apple cider. He perks up when he catches Tifa's eye, pleased to see the woman safe and sound after all that murderous nightmare.]

Appointment Thread - Fai

[Fai has chosen to keep his same outfit from before but as gone so far as to add tiny bat wings to the ensemble. It is something that is easily to cook in as well as work.

He floats through the club, waiting for his appointments to arrive and making sure everyone has enough to eat.]

Bothering Rin during the animal curse

[Here was proof that Vanitas wasn’t kitten around about stopping by. He’ll keep in mind the claw of the joint and be purrfectly decent.

Vanitas was admiring the decorations especially the ghoulish figures off of the light fixtures. Ears were standing at attention as his tail just moved slowly. He was dressed in just jeans and a t-shirt. Sorry it wasn’t anything fancy for their little meet up, but he didn’t really feel like impressing.

He was standing close to where he saw the kitchen staff vanish to before. Meow mao, Rin.]

[That's okay, Rin is only half in costume anyway. Since he had changed from a convict werewolf to a kingly lion due to his animal transformation for the week, it wasn't really something he could wear efficiently in the kitchen, what the the cape and the crown and the poofy shirt and what not. So for the moment he was merely in his slacks and the normal button down he wore when he wasn't in costume, with half apron covering from the waist down as always. His costume bits were in the locker room for when he was out of the kitchen long enough to require it.

But that also meant that his currently cursed ears were exposed.

Or would have been, if he hadn't had the amazing foresight to grab a proper white chef's hat during his shopping trip with Fai.

So when he walked out for his break, wearing the hat, it was only his furry hands that gave any sort of hint that he was under the curse. He also came out completely unaware that Vanitas was even there, at least until something odd pinged in the back of his mind and he turned to see the other teen.]

[Not even looking at him as he spoke. Vanitas was reaching over to prod one of the pumpkins. It was something he has heard of in passing, but never actually seen it first hand.

[ WELL SOME CERTAIN DOPE FORGOT THE LUNCH CHERIA WORKED SO HARD TO MAKE FOR HIM. Okay, it really wasn't that difficult. Still. He'd forgotten it, and out of worry for his well-being (and a slight irritation that he had forgotten at all), Cheria was now coming to Golden Victory to bring her not!husband his lunch.

She'd promised Zelos that she would drop by sometime anyway and check it out. So yeah, here she is, lunch sack in one hand and looking around at the place, keeping her eyes out for any sign of Asbel.

[In the moments where Rin didn't need to be behind the kitchen door for a good length of time, the partially lion-transformed teen could be seen wandering about the club in a very regal king costume with his lion ears, tail and paw-hands all but visible and his mane-like hair tied back in a ponytail.

That's right.

He was a lion king.

But really, as stuffy as the costume could be, he didn't mind it so much. Having to take it on and off for cooking was a bit of a pain, but really he figured it could be worse. At least the ears made the costume that much more unique.

He was coming back from his break when he noticed the girl standing alone with a bag in her hands. He stood, blinking a few times

It took him a second, but eventually the bright red hair tipped him off.]

[ She wasn't expecting to know many more than a few people in this place, which is why she was so surprised to hear a voice that she didn't recognize at first call out to her by name. Cheria looked over in the direction she heard her name, then smiled as she suddenly realized who it was. ]

[ She stepped a little closer to him. ]

[Seeing an interesting girl for once instead of the usual, Angelo strolls over to Cheria in a very interesting costume choice. His hair, usually tied up, is let down for this occasion. Cheria might also notice the plain silver loop earrings in his ears as he bows to her. He was also thankful to not be effected by the curse this time around.]

[No matter how awkward it is for Dhaos to be here in his current state, he had missed too much work this month already. Thus Cheria is getting greeted by a guy shirtless guy with a small horn on his forehead and what appears to be a white horse with a tail kinda like Rin's sprouting from where his hips should start. (He's not too happy about not having a shirt, but nobody has any button ups he can borrow.)]
