05 - Neither shall anything stand or abide...
Who: Rand, Raine, and the other two boys, if they want to join in.
When: Morning of the 17th? Bodyswapcursemorning, at least.
Where: The Winespring~
Style: Starting brackety, can go prose

[ After waking up, and not recognizing where he was - or perhaps more strangely, who he was -, Rand made sure that... she? was wearing enough clothes to be decent. A shirt and pants were definitely enough, if a bit Min or Aiel like, and headed to find ... him.
He should still be in the winespring, as this didn't seem like something that changed him. Saidin wasn't calling, after all.
He should warn who ever it is about that. That could be bad. And about the wounds.
So he's somewhat relieved when he finds that... he? hasn't woken up yet. Rand drags over a chair, somewhat thrilled to have two hands again, and settles to wait. ]

[ The last few days for the Professor have been pretty busy preparing for the week ahead. After she wakes up she was going to head to the Academy and stay there for the next three days to teach. However, apparently the coral had other plans.
For one, she was not expecting to see "herself" next to the bed when she wakes up. She also wasn't expecting to be a male red-head who lacks a hand. Though she did not realize the latter until after trying to sit up in the bed only for her to stumble with the lack of a hand support.
She manages to sit up on her second attempt using only the arm with a hand attached at the hand before looking at well... herself. ]
Mind I ask what has happened?

I'm assuming it is one of the 'curses'. I don't feel saidin - my magic - and I also woke up in a somewhat matching situation. Obviously not being watched. I hope this isn't something you'd be uncomfortable seen in.
[ Referring to the shirt and pants. And a bit of a sheepish look. ]
And I'm Rand.

A curse, you say. ... Yes. That is highly plausible. [ A shake of the head. Luckily, it's close to what she normally wears without the orange clothing on top ] It's not a huge deal.
Raine Sage. Tell me, Rand, what exactly is this saidin that you have mentioned.

Its the half of the One Power, or the True Source, accessible by men. The Source is... It is what turns the Wheel of Time. The driving force of creation. The other half is called saidar, which is only usable by women, and the two halves work against each other, but provide the force to turn the wheel. It doesn't get used up; the same way that the river under a waterwheel doesn't get used up.
Saidin is rougher, as I understand, than saidar. One of the bonded Aes Sedai - right now the title is for female channelers, but it used to be for all of them - said something about that. I'm afraid I wasn't really paying that much attention at the time. It is something that control has to be fought over, and it will try to get loose.
