[ Kaito is doing one of the things he does best and just kind of lounging around the apartment. He's slouched on the couch with his arms crossed and his eyes closed. He's actually contemplating putting together a magic show for Vatheon and that requires him to make mental checklists, think over his resources and available locations. Although if everything's free it probably won't be too hard to rent a place out. ]

[ Trying to make sense of everything is more difficult than he thought it would be and at first he thinks she's telling him she didn't mean it but he re-inflates as whatever she said was just confusing but it wasn't a rejection. ]

[ She shifts to grip his hand in return, but then he pulls it away, and she can't help but feel a little stupid.

...Friends. It kind of hurts a little, but...but that's so much better than whatever this is that maybe it's a good idea to go back.

[ He lets out a sigh, he's not sure if it's relief or what. Aoko will stay his friend though so he'll take relief. ]

[ He looks down at her hand and closes his thumb over her fingers. ]

[ W-well... she's just agreed to being more than friends right? So.. that makes her his g-girlfriend... right? ]

Which isn't an issue, per se, so much as it just doesn't help with the whole stopping-blushing thing. ]
