[ Kaito is doing one of the things he does best and just kind of lounging around the apartment. He's slouched on the couch with his arms crossed and his eyes closed. He's actually contemplating putting together a magic show for Vatheon and that requires him to make mental checklists, think over his resources and available locations. Although if everything's free it probably won't be too hard to rent a place out. ]

[ He really can't help the hopeful tone in his voice. ]

[ Blushing, but smiling. ]

[ Well, this is awkward.

Maybe Aoko will...reach out to hold his hand, albeit somewhat hesitantly.

There. Your move now. ]

[ He looks down at her hand and closes his thumb over her fingers. ]

[ W-well... she's just agreed to being more than friends right? So.. that makes her his g-girlfriend... right? ]

[ ..Would she smack him if he tried to kiss her? ]

H-hey... y-you won't smack me will you?

[ He leans in closer to her ]

[ Woah, hey, Kaito's getting pretty close.

Which isn't an issue, per se, so much as it just doesn't help with the whole stopping-blushing thing. ]

[ Well, she's not pulling away at all so he'll just go for it and close the distance by leaning in closer and closing the distance aiming for her lips- ]

[ But of course this is the first time he's done something like this not in a dream so it's a little sloppy. ]

[ Aoko's a little surprised at first (and then figures she probably shouldn't be, after all), but she quickly relaxes.

It's her first kiss, too, so she's...not really sure how to respond. She tries leaning into him a little more, to let him know that it's okay. Maybe that'll work? ]

[ Well, it's not like he knows how kisses work either so her leaning in is all the encouragement he needs. ]

[ He's not sure he's doing this right-the movies make it look so easy- so he just pulls away after a few seconds, his cheeks still slightly red but a self-satisfied smile on his face. ]
