[Akihiko was not going to let a giant black bowling ball prevent him from celebrating Shinjiro's birthday. Even if it did mean celebrating it later than originally planned. Organzing a party wasn't too hard; most of SEES seemed excited about the idea and willing to help out. There was a cake and presents, and even a few surprises (that Akihiko hoped would keep that way until the right time).]

I don't think he's gone out today. There weren't any flower petals on the floor when I had breakfast this morning. We'll surprise him when he comes down.

[Akihiko was weirded out by Shinjiro's strange new 'power' at first, but he figured it wasn't too bad. After all, it helped during the battle. He didn't expect it would linger, though. At least they'd know where he'd been.]

[And WHAM!! The left hook finds its mark on Shinjiro's face (IN DRAMATIC SUPER SLOW MO TOO, YOU'RE TOTALLY IMAGINING IT HAPPENING RIGHT NOW) and he can feel his bottom lip flare and burn near immediately. Oh, that was going to leave a mark...but so was the headbutt he slammed into the other's face, as they rolled off from the bed and right into the floor. He manages to at least grab his hat back, as he then uses his leg to shove Akihiko off and give him enough time to place on his head again. By that time, the busted lip had cased a small amount of blood to drip to his mouth and he spat it out angrily.

Brotherly love.]

[And with that last hit, Shinji is overwhelmed by Aki's attack. He now leans defeated on his back, arms outstretched on the floor, breathing loudly. How many bruises this time? Too bad his expression is still incredibly stern and angry. What could he even say back to that? You know, apart from the usual.]
