[ Mithos has been sitting next to the Coral for a while now. Every day for the last week, he's come back to his little bench near the coral, sitting there for hours at a time, staring at it, as if he were hoping someone he knew would be there. He knew it was the time of month when people started arriving, but... once again, he was disappointed, and saddened. She still wasn't here. She still wasn't going to arrive.

And he was still terribly alone.

Today was the last chance he had, until next month. And of course, Martel wasn't there. Fighting back tears again, Mithos slowly, reluctantly, gets to his feet, and slowly starts to walk away, back towards his apartment, his eyes glued to the ground.

And he might just walk into your character. ]

[Madame Red is going back to the manor where she lives in with Ciel after a day at the clinic. She is trying to review what Muraki had taught her, so she's not watching where she's walking. That's how she literally walks into Mithos.]

I'm sorry, sir. I was distracted.

[ Walter is turning away from the coral after a brief touch, the mark on his sleeved hand fading from the contact, when he stops just as someone smaller walks into him. Standing impeccably still, he glances at the perpetrator.

Yellow and white --

Green.

He keeps a straight face, if not an outright glare, whilst he looks down at the shorter boy. He's compelled to walk away right now. ]

[ After learning that things are free in Vatheon Yukiko had taken it upon herself to settle herself into the place. Quite well too! Today she's gone a little bit of more clothing shopping, as well as some food shopping as well. Can't shop if you're too hungry to do so!

So she was on her way back to where she was staying when she notices Mithos. He didn't seem too happy... and Yukiko isn't too fond of seeing young people upset. So holding her bags of food and clothing she slowly walks on over to him. He's looking at the ground so she tries to make sure that he doesn't accidentally bump into her when she speaks in concern. ]

You seem a little down? Are you okay?

_{[Ruca had a lot to think about (as always) so at some point he stopped paying attention to where he is going (again). That is... until he walks into Mithos.]}

Oh, I'm so sorry!

_{[of course, he takes the blame on himself, but before he is about to apologize even more, he notices Mithos' expression.]}

Hey... are you alright?

[ The fact that he had a lot on his mind really didn't help. Mithos bumps into her, and does a very Colette-like collapse backwards onto his backside. Without standing back up, he glares up at her. ]

Watch it!

[martelapproves]

[ That glare is returned. Mithos nearly trips from walking into the taller blonde, and the first thought that enters his mind is 'human.' However, Mithos decides to walk away, first. Only because he really doesn't feel like fighting with a human... only enough. ]

[ladyinscarlet]

[Oh? She apologized and he just yells and glares at her.]

Well, you didn't dodge me either. It can't be just my fault, sir.

[ Oh, look, a human who actually watches where she's going. When she asks her question, Mithos looks up at her. He tried to glare, but he couldn't. She actually seemed to be kind, but still... eww, human. ]

What does it look like?

[ You're a human, it's the default reaction. Mithos clambers to his feet, dusts himself off, and looks away. No response from him. He's too upset right now to start arguing with someone. He feels like he'll never see his sister again. ]

[nightbaroness]

[ Yukiko glances up from the boy and looks back at where he was walking from. Looks like he was coming in the direction of the fountain? And he looks really sad about something. Soon enough she looks back at him and replies to him in a soft tone. ]

It looks like you're sad because the coral didn't grant your wish.

[martelapproves]

Watch where you're--

[ Wait. It's... Ruca. That human with that weird demonic presence, something he hasn't felt since Niflheim. Mithos quickly gets to his feet, examining Ruca a bit more closely, and scoffs. ]

Just... be more careful.

[ That's a little unusual -- usually, people react one way or another, but this boy cuts straight to walking away.

That's perfectly fine with Walter.

Glancing over his shoulder at the boy's retreating form, he turns back and starts the other way. ]

[She is a noble, she's met countless arrogant children before. Even her own nephew is one. Of course she doesn't know he's not human, though. In her eyes, he looks just like anyone else, maybe prettier than the average man, but...]

Maybe I should leave you to your thoughts, my Lord. But if you need someone to talk to, I would be willing to listen. [Auntie An is here for you.]

[In fact, he just might walk into Zelos as he's carting a box of costumes to the host club. A few of the tricorne hats tumble out with the impact.]

Hey, watch where you're-

[Oh, it's Mithos. Shit.]

[ Mithos watches as the hats fall to the ground. Looking up at the red-haired chosen, who dared to actually think about yelling at him, Mithos fumes for a moment. He wasn't in the mood to deal with this, right now. But still, this was Zelos, so Mithos will just send a quick, unmistakeable message.

A ball of light energy forms in Mithos' hands, and he casts it outwards, the ball splitting in three directions, hitting the hats with enough force to send them upwards, the hats being reduced to ash in midair. With that, Mithos turns, and walks away. ]

[martelapproves]

[ Mithos stops mid-step. He fumes for a moment, but looks back over his shoulder, nearly snarling. ]

You're a human.

[ He growls. ]

I don't want to talk to you. Or anyone else. All it will do is make me angry.

[martelapproves]

Gee, you think so!?

[ Mithos yells. Rather suddenly, actually. He didn't even think he was going to, but it just... comes out. ]

I'm sick of people telling me to tolerate humans! That this... thing - [ he points accusingly at the coral ] - will bring my sister back! That I should just sit and wait and hope for something--- something...

[ Mithos nearly collapses. He's so sick of being disappointed, or wishing for something he doubts will ever happen. ]

[She blinks in confusion. Since when is it bad to be a human anyway?]

Well, I don't see what's wrong with being human, but fine! I don't have to talk to a spoiled child after all.

[nightbaroness]

[ Yukiko takes it and listens. After he finishes she watches to make sure he doesn't complete collapse but she does bend down a little. She's a little surprised by his burst but she looks like she's completely unphased by it. ]

Is that what people are telling you? [ She's not going to question the idea of him tolerating humans. It doesn't really matter. Besides, even a human can hate the human race. ] Sometimes we just have to disobey what people are telling us. If you don't want to just sit around and wait then who's to say that you have to? [ Because she certainly won't. ]

Though... [ She takes a moment to think about the situation as she looks back at the direction of the coral. It would be hard not to just sit around and wait for the coral to bring someone to you. And from the sounds of him saying 'bringing her back' it meant... ] I guess it would be rather hard... [ She looks back at the boy. He seems stressed from all of this. Especially since he seems to about to collapse. ] Have you had the chance to just... let out all your anger? Why don't you do that now. You don't have to talk at me, but I'm here if you just want to let go of any rage. It might not grant your wish, but it might help you feel a little less burdened.

[martelapproves]

Good. Then leave me alone!

[ And off he goes, feeling tears well up in his eyes again. She might hear him sniffle a bit as he walks off. Clearly, whatever he was in a bad mood about was really, really upsetting. ]

[ Disobey? He really wants to, Yukiko. He wants to start blowing holes through that coral until it brings his sister here. But he can't, and he knows it. That coral radiates mana like he's never seen before.

But what she says next intrigues him. He'll even answer her question, totally honestly. ]

Of course I have. For the last few millenia I've been making humans pay for killing my sister! Thousands at time!

[ He takes a deep breath, trying to stay calm. ]

If you want me to do the same here, just say so.

[nightbaroness]

[ She doesn't say anything for a small moment. Did he just say 'a few millenia? Just how old was he? And to kill humans thousands at times... it was really frightening.

Still, when she responds again she doesn't look all that frightened at all. Being able to maintain your emotions is something an actress can do fairly well. ]

Mouu... I guess not. [ She thinks for a moment. Telling him to not hate humans doesn't seem to be a wise idea; it sounds like people have already been doing so. ]

So you hate me for killing your sister? [ It was strange wording since Yukiko obviously didn't kill his sister herself, but there was a subtle point to it. ] She must have been wonderful. What was she like?

[She hears him sniffle and feeds bad for him, but... He's so rude, he won't accept her help.]

[Well that's just...

You know what? He's had it. Guy's gone. Zelda's in a coma. He's got more work than he knows what to do with around the host club, and Seles' birthday was fast approaching which always put him in a strange mood. No, he's not going to stand for this on top of everything else. He kicks the now empty box in his frustration, sending it skittering across the plaza.]

Where do you get off!? I know you're used to being little mister high-and-mighty but this isn't Aselia, this world isn't your plaything and neither are the people in it. People've got more important shit to worry about than your little temper tantrums!

[Not his best work considering he's sort of throwing a tantrum himself, but damn it kind of felt good to let out and actually yell at Mithos for once. Even if he is aware he'll probably pay for it pretty presently, but the mood he's in? He's not sure if he's wary of it or welcomes it.]
