Who: Rin, Kohaku, [Open to Shing and Beryl too]
Where: The Hearts-cast apartment
When: BACKDATE - After this fight
Style: Prose. All the feels, man.
Status: CLOSED
He was wheezing by the time he reached the familiar apartment he had spent so much time in during the past several months. Clutching his aching side, most of Rin's deeper wounds were in the last stages of mending, but that didn't mean he was out of the woods yet. And he knew he looked a horrible mess - shirt torn up, covered in blood, bruises on his face and arms - but he couldn't just hold off and hope that his own healing didn't cut out and add to his already decidedly bad day.
He knew he should contact Maka and Masaru, too, but he was wanting to cross that bridge a little later, when his head wasn't pounding and he didn't feel weak and sick to his stomach.
He finally made it to the door and raised his scratched, bruised hand to knock, pausing to look at it. An all too familiar sight, reminiscent of the days before he knew who and what he was.
Some things just never changed...
Finally he knocked as loud as he could, then promptly slumped against the door with a grunt, closing his eyes as he willed his head to stop spinning.
"'eyy... Kohaku... open up..."

"... he's half-demon like you, then? Or... maybe closer to darkness...?"
If that made any sense at all.

"You sure you're not worrying too much?" she said walking a bit closer to get a better look at Rin's condition. "B-besides, Rin, you should focus on recovering first, then we can talk about that guy, whoever he was..."
But to injure Rin like this... that guy really might had been some kind of half-demon or... Beryl shook her head. Better not think about that.

"Let's get you healed up first, and then we can talk more about this guy. Unless, of course, you want to. If that's the case, then I know all of us are willing to listen."
Kohaku took a look at Rin's injuries once again; they were getting better, but they still could have used a little more care. With that in mind, she closed her eyes, murmuring another healing arte beneath her breath and letting the healing power flow into him. She was going to be tired after this, that was for sure ... but she didn't mind. Rin needed it.

"I'unno... part of me just wants to sleep and hope this all goes away or somethin'..." he answered after a while, voice unusually quiet coming from him. He was finally starting to feel better, but he was still tired. It showed on his face and in his posture, just how much it was weighing on him.
"Whatever... I'll be fine. If he comes around again I'll just have to kick his ass twice as hard..."
Some how, the threat didn't sound as dangerous as he wanted it to.
