[Eridan cannot give less of a fuck about how pissed Sollux is. Besides, pissing him off is all par the course anyways what with this relationship and all. It's not too long before Eridan rears his hat-clad head, looking smug as ever, and for all Sollux might be crackling with power, Eridan doesn't look the slightest bit worried.]

[Well. Eridan isn't god tier right now, so probably Sollux has the upper hand in the area of psionic abilities.

So he's planning on picking Eridan up.]

[And if Sollux doesn't have a hold on his arms with his psionics, he's going to jab a finger in his direction.]

[And he'll hurl Eridan out over the water with his powers, watching the splash with satisfaction]

[Eridan doesn't even get a chance to say anything before he finds himself HURLED through the air and making like a skipping stone thrown by someone who has no talent for skipping rocks. It takes him a moment to reorient himself before he emerges from the water--thoroughly PISSED.]

You fuckin' DOUCHEBAG! I don't ewen fuckin' care what you think about this shit, or why you're upset, that was completely un-FUCKIN'-called for, you piece of trash!

[And maybe he's swimming to the shore now, grumbling under his breath the whole way. At least by now he's not a complete train wreck when he swims.]

[Sollux can hear him screaming out in the ocean, and he doesn't really care that much what he's saying. He just stands well back from the shore, watching him. That was really, really satisfying]

[You can ignore him all you want, Sollux, because once he gets there he plans on punching you in your fucking mouth. FINALLY, he gets out of the water, looking close to a drowned squeakbeast, his close clinging to his skinny body--maybe not as skinny as Sollux, but he's still pretty scrawny. And if Sollux doesn't do something to stop him with his psionics, or just move in general, Eridan plans to march his soaked ass over there and hurl a ring-covered fist at Sollux's face.]

[Normally, Sollux would have been laughing at the sight of him, but he's really not in a trolling mood. For once he's pretty serious, and he stares Eridan down as the taller troll stalks towards him.

He's not dumb enough to leave himself unprotected, though, and as Eridan gets closer, he pushes out with his powers, trying to knock him back]

Go fuck yourthelf, underthtand? Leave my anthethtor alone and I won't have to do that again!

[He stumbles, but doesn't fall from the push. Leveling a hateful glare at the other troll.]

I'm not gonna leawe him alone, I don't hawe to and no manner of fit you throw will conwince me to stop talkin' to him.

[He's calming down a little, and the sparks diminish, though he's still wary that Eridan might come try to punch him again] You're utterly incapable of understanding thith, get it? You don't underthtand the effect you have on people, ethpecially people as fucked in the lobe stem ath he is! And you just think it'th your right, but it'th not, okay?

Who the fuck are you to say what I am or am not capable of understandin'?

[He's tempted, oh so tempted, but he knows Sollux's guard isn't down so marching over there will only result in him being shoved again.]

I'm WELL aware of the effect I hawe on people, and just because you don't like it, doesn't mean I hawe to stop. Doesn't mean I hawe to feel bad about it either. So stop tryin' to force your pathetic woes on me about it, because I don't GIWE a fuck!
