From one underwater city to another

[If anyone is up at this late hour and happens to wander over to the Lamufao, they may just find an absurdly tall elderly gentleman hunched over on one of the benches nearby. He looks terribly tired, as if he had just recently seen everything he had worked for snatched from his grasp and the world fall down about him. Inwardly, while he's too tired to do much angsting about apparently being dead, he certainly finds it ironic that what appears to be the afterlife is an underwater city not unlike the one he had spent the greater part of his life sealed in, and where he had been turned to stone.

[Zelda hadn't slept easy since Ghirahim's arrival in Vatheon. For whatever reason he hadn't sought her or Link out again. She's not naive enough to think it's her magic keeping him away. No, he must be planning something.

When her hand glows in the middle of the night indicating that the complete Triforce is within the city, she knows exactly what that something is.

The princess tears out of bed and runs to Link's room, throwing the door open. She didn't even bother to change out of her nightgown or put on a robe for once.]

[Of course Maka shouldn't be awake at this hour, but since when has she ever made decisions that were sound? Now is obviously the best time to be restocking pet food and whatever passes for sustenance for herself currently.

Seeing Ganondorf causes her to pause and approach out of concern.]

Sir? Are you all right?

[ Bulla is out and about for no reason in particular. To clear her head, mostly, seeing as her father vanishing hadn't left her in the best mood.

She notices the tall, depressed looking guy by the coral, and heads over to see whats up. Curiosity, and all that. ]

[Johnny always kept odd hours, so wandering the plaza at night was nothing new. The sight of the man on the bench, however, was. Johnny was certain he'd never seen him around, he looked like he could use some company, and the vampire was willing to offer, so he quietly made his way over and plopped down onto the other end of the bench. He lit up a cigarette before he spoke.]

You look like you've had a rough day. Did you just arrive here?

[Different things happened at different hours, so Grit kept the weirdest schedule. Sometimes he'd stay awake all night and day and sleep for a long time. There was no war here. He could finally relax. And so, he decided to start looking around. And then happened to run into this overly large man who seemed to be tired. So he moved over to him and slipped in to sit on the arm of the bench.]

Probably time soon to get some rest.

*like so many others from their world, he knows the moment that Ganondorf arrives. Ghirahim has kept watch since he arrived, hoping, and even desperately attempting to tie him and the sky boy's replica together as one entity. The reason for the latter was simple. He was masterless, something that in his entire existence he had only experienced once. He was not going to endure it a third time. Not with him here.

He knows it's Demise. Even through the mortal husk, he can sense it. And it makes him absolutely giddy in anticipation.

With a snap of his fingers he appears before Ganondorf, only barely concealing his excitement at the resonance between them.*

[Usually, Tidus would be up at the very earliest in the morning, when he could be alone for a little while. Tonight, he had woken up sooner than usual, but he didn't bother to try and go back to sleep. Instead, mild curiosity and too much energy has him checking out the rest of the city, until he ends up at the Lamufao. That guy looks pretty tall.]
