Maybe you notice the princess staring too long at something, or maybe you notice the Sheikah scaling new heights to investigate those hard to reach places - but Zelda is definitely on the prowl for information now that the faeries are gone. She wisely avoids the ruins of the church, but nowhere else public seems to be beyond her interest. At least she doesn't break into people's houses like the other Hylian here in Vatheon.

"No, it is not. It seems common in this place, though." Her lips twisted in distaste. "Of course, to balance that out they evidently bring people back to life, too..."

"They can really do such a thing?" This is the first time he had heard about this.

[zelda_hylia]

"Yes, they can. There are people who have died in their homeworlds that show up here perfectly alright... and of course, if a person dies here, they just show back up in the plaza again."

"I didn't know about that..."

But even if the death wasn't permanent here, if someone died they would still feel pain and they would still remember it afterwards... wouldn't they?

"It's a little disturbing, isn't it?" Zelda looked around again at that. She just couldn't believe that there were no traces of what had just happened - nothing!

"Yes, it is." He looks at her. "Are you looking for... something?"

[zelda_hylia]

Zelda nodded. "Yes, I suppose you could say that. I'm looking for clues. Anything that might have been left behind in all of this. It was brutal and fast, I can't imagine that the administration here would have done something like that if they weren't in a hurry."

"I see... Um..." he hesitated. "Maybe... I could help you look?" Since he was also interested in knowing as much as he could...

She smiled gently in response. Ruca was certainly adorable, but she didn't want him involved in anything that might get the administration of Vatheon angry with him.

"Are you certain? The people that run this city are not always merciful to those who poke their heads where they don't belong."

"I..." It was true that he wished to avoid trouble as much as he could, but... he wished to help Zelda. And that wasn’t all.

"I am certain. I want to help you... and I want to learn more about this city." he was rare for him to sound as determined as he was now.

"Very well. I don't know where your specialization lies, but mine is with magical and temporal disturbances. I will be searching for anything like that. If you could keep an eye out, it would be appreciated."

"I don't really have any specialization... And I think magic here is different from the one used in my world anyway, but... I'll do my best to help. If I notice anything I'll let you know."
