◆ oo1; EYEBALL ●
Who: Guriko and you!
When: Afternoon (slightly backdated because I took forever with this...)
Where: The Plaza
Status: Open
Style: [ this one!!!! ]
[ It's very possible to miss Guriko when she arrives in Vatheon, since she is a very small girl curled in the fetal position and placed in a relatively well-hid place--that is, a small shadowy corner in the large Plaza.
She also isn't moving. At all.
A close eye might catch the fact that there are scratches and bite marks all along her body--her arm in a sling and bandages around her neck and chest. Obviously in pretty bad shape, and not breathing.
Dead? Not quite.
In a couple minutes, Guriko's big red eyes open up wide, and she looks around at her surroundings with some sort of incredible fear. After a moment she relaxes, slumping against the corner she hid in. With a little trouble she stands, and starts limping to the coral.

Help a girl out? ]

He took several steps closer to check for any signs of breathing. Whoever the heck dumped her was in for a world of hurt. Really, who would do this to someone so young?! Hayner glanced left and right to be see if there was signs of anyone guilty lurking around.
When he looked back, her eyes were opened.]
WHOA [Totally startled. Good going there, girl.
He kneeled down in front of her.] We should get you to the clinic.
no subject
At his suggestion though, Guriko shakes her head, expression remaining as serious as ever. The last time she was at a clinic must have been years ago... ]
Guriko doesn't need to go to the clinic. [ She blinks, glancing down at the sling. ] These wounds will soon heal themselves.
no subject
He pauses on his way over as she gets up and slowly makes her unsteady way to the coral. Ah, so she's been here before, then. Why else would she make a b-line for it, after all, unless she knew it could heal her?
Zelos walks up to her side and offers an arm to lean on.]
Need a hand getting to the coral, Hunny?
no subject
A quick stumble sends her little hand automatically reaching for his arm in order her steady her walk. She offers little more than an appreciative nod, slightly shy because she needed to depend on this stranger because of her own weakness. ]
Ah. [ At his words, Guriko lets go of his arm, taking a small step away. ] Guriko thinks you've got her messed up with someone. Guriko is the great Guriko, not "Hunny".
sorry this took me so long. Life kicked my ass.
[He keeps his arms outstretched a little in case she stumbles again, worried for her health.]
C'mon, let's get you to the coral, alright? It'll fix you right up.
no worries, my dear! backtag all you'd like c:
[ Suffice to say, Guriko is flustered. It's not every day (or ever) when she gets complimented and called such nice names, so it's definitely special to her.
That said, she does hold back on his arm, moving her hand to hold his. ]
Guriko thanks you for your kindness, Stranger.
no subject
[He easily slides her hand to back to holding his arm, very much the gentlemanly gesture of leading a lady as he walks her carefully to the coral and stops close enough for her to reach out with her good arm and touch it.]
Go ahead. Can't have you walking around all hurt and in pain now, can we? That's not good at all!
no subject
When they arrive at the coral, Guriko takes a step forward, reaching out her free hand to go touch the sculpture. Immediately, she feels about twenty times better, and sighs with relief. ]
Thank you, Zelos. Guriko is in your debt. [ Her look remains neutral, but she bows appreciatively, releasing his arm. ]
no subject
Don't hesitate to call me if you need any other help, got it? I'll drop whatever I'm doing and come to your aid, cutie.
[Though he's not sure if she wants any more of his help at the moment really.]

And so, when he sees her in the plaza, a wave of shock washes over him. Then, joy.
... It's been lonely without her.
Silently, Tiir smiles and walks over to Guriko, before moving to sweep her off her feet and carry her—]
no subject
[ The single arm wrapping tightly around his neck is an instantaneous response—her Tiir-nii, her lovely Tiir-nii. Of course he would be here, he would always be here—not in a pessimistic way but rather an extremely optimistic, positive one. He was here, and that was the kindest gift anyone could ever give Guriko.
She places a kiss on his cheek before burying her head in the crook of his shoulder to hide her pink cheeks. Once she recovers, Guriko looks into his eyes, hands falling on either of his shoulders. ]
The greatly dishonorable and shameful Guriko has left you again. She hopes you made friends in her absence?
no subject
You're never dishonorable or shameful, Guriko.
[... She's really here. Holding her in his arms like this—it's proof of that. He holds her a bit tighter, as if to reaffirm her presence, as he heads over to the coral.
He chooses to ignore the question, however, and instead adds—]
Welcome back.
no subject
[ She rubs her face on his shoulder, both as a way to annoy him and get his attention, and as a way to prove to herself that he really is here and okay.
She really thought he and Walter would have fought and killed each other if she weren't here— ]
no subject
Guriko couldn't ever annoy Tiir, however, so he instead smiles at her action.]
It's not your fault. And even besides that, you came back. That's all that matters now.
no subject
[ She pulls away from his shoulder, a little red in the cheeks. Suffice to say, she is very happy to see him alive and well. ]
no subject
[Gently letting her down in front of the coral now! His smile dims.]
... Though I'd rather see you also well and unharmed. What happened?
no subject
[ She really doesn't want to tell him, but it's also Tiir, so she can't lie. He'll know right away. ]
Guriko and Rinnie got eaten alive. It was... unpleasant.
[ She shakes her head. ]
Don't worry.
[1/2] WELP
Have a look of complete and utter shock and grief on Tiir's face.]
W-What!?
[How does he not worry over the fact that she died?]
[2/2]
Guriko, I... I'm sorry. But it's all right to be sad, you know. You don't have to pretend...
oh whoops 1/2
[ Guriko jumps at his reaction, stilling. It's a little... weird hearing she died, maybe, but she'd come back.
Obviously. He knew that.
She pats his back at little awkwardly, before it hits her, kind of like a billion mile per hour train.
He doesn't know that. The one time she explained her whole being to him, was something he didn't remember.
Putting her hand directly on his shoulders, she shoves him back, before pressing them to either side of his cheeks. ]
2/2
[ Her look grows very serious, before she sighs, removing a hand from his cheek to run through her hair. ]
It is a very long story, which Guriko promises to tell Tiir-nii in less tense times.
All that is important right now, however, is this: Guriko is immortal. Every time you kill her, she will come back to life. You could tear her apart, limb of limb, and all the pieces would meet up again. You could burn her up in a fire, and the ashes would all reform into her.
Guriko is sorry. She... never mentioned something so important to Tiir-nii.
[ Now she looks very sad. ]
no subject
[He blinks at her explanation, not quite registering it immediately. It takes a few moments, as his mind tries to understand—
Guriko is immortal. The hows or whys or whats don't matter, though. She's someone precious to him—that's what does. And so, the important thing here is...
She isn't dead. Not permanently, at least.
Relief breaks out in his face, as he smiles—before it takes on a sad notch, as he holds her again.]
You don't need to apologize for anything, Guriko.
[He should be, for making her say that. For making her look so sad.]
And... I'm still sorry. You shouldn't have had to go through something like that.
no subject
[ But this time she doesn't push him away, and instead brings him in closer, tucking her head into the crook of his shoulder. ]
Don't be sorry Tiir-nii. Guriko has died a number of times. It's something she's quite used to, unfortunately.
[ That is meant to be reassuring— ]
no subject
sob Guriko your life.]
Even so... you shouldn't have to suffer like that. Again and again...
[Death is death, even if not permanent. If Guriko won't be sad for herself, then Tiir will just have to be sad for the both of them.
He reaches up with one hand to stroke her hair.]
Promise me—even if you're immortal, you won't be careless with your life.
no subject
Guriko isn't. She doesn't enjoy dying. Though sometimes—
[ —she wishes it were permanent.
But of course she can't say that, because it will only make Tiir feel worse. It's not that she hates life, but one thousand years of it feels a little... exaggerated. It's sad. But she wouldn't force her situation on anyone, which is why she takes the burden on herself.]
Never mind. [ Guriko reaches behind and touches the coral, instantly feeling a lot better. ]
See? Everything is fine!
no subject
Still, he knows that there's no point in pressing the matter further. Not now.
And so, he manages a smile, as he lets go and stands up, before offering a hand to her.]
Well, now that you've returned, we should do something to celebrate. What do you think?
no subject
He crouches quickly when he sees her, lifting his towel to gently rub at her hair.]
Imouto...?
no subject
[ A small, unbroken hand reaches out to cling onto his sleeve, tugging him downwards. She looks up with a slightly embarrassed look on her face. ]
How is Nato-nii?
no subject
[He just sets the towel aside, running his fingers through her hair gently.]
Where are you hurt, imouto?
no subject
[ And she's not really lying. She inhales deeply, pressing her forehead to his shoulder, and releases it.
Being eaten alive is not a fun time. ]
Guriko is happy to see you, Nato-nii.
no subject
Alright. He runs his fingers through her hair quietly.]
I'm happy to see you too. Very happy.
Let's get you cleaned up, and then we'll go see Tiir-san, alright?
no subject
[ She stays close to him for another moment, before pulling back and scratching at a bite mark on her cheek.
Guriko then puts her hand on Minato's and squeezes, so he can help her up. ]
How have Nato-nii and Tiir-nii been?
no subject
As soon as she spies the injured girl curled up on the floor, all her other concerns are pretty quickly forgotten. Aoko runs over, hoping that it's not as bad as it looks. She doesn't even look like she's breathing....
By the time she gets there, the smaller girl's eyes are open, which is a good sign. She breathes a small sigh of relief...but doesn't relax just yet; the other girl still looks pretty bad. ]
Are....are you okay?
no subject
Guriko is sorry if she has worried you, Stranger. [ She looks up to the other lady with big, red eyes and an extremely neutral face. ]
She is all right. Please don't concern yourself.
no subject
[ Aoko's a worrier by nature, so it's hard for her to take the other girl's words at face value and leave her to her own devices. Because the girl...certainly don't look all right, no matter what she said.
...It had been a stupid question in the first place. ]
At the very least, you shouldn't be moving, I think...
no subject
But that wouldn't be very nice.
With cheeks tinted slightly red, Guriko refuses to make eye contact, instead simply sticking out a hand to hold. ]
Would... would Stranger perhaps help Guriko to the coral, then? She'd be very thankful.
no subject
Instead, Aoko takes the outstretched hand in her own, sticking out her arm for the other girl to lean her weight on if need be. ]
My name is Aoko. [ There, not strangers any more! ] And of course I'll help you.
no subject
Have one winged-girl approaching you with expression showing so much worry...]
What... what happened?
[she shakes her hand.]
I'll help get to the clinic...!
no subject
[ The little girl stirs for a moment, balling her non-broken hand up and rubbing it against her eye. She slowly rises from her curled position, cracking her back loudly. ]
Guriko is being honest. She's all right.
no subject
[The girl doesn't seem to be okay at all, no matter how Dizzy looks at this.]
no subject
[ She frowns a bit, mad at herself for acting so rudely. A kind lady offering help... she should definitely accept. ]
Guriko's wounds have already been tended to. The clinic will not be necessary. Perhaps... perhaps a visit to the coral would be beneficial.
no subject
[oh goodness, but how should she help?]
no subject
Do you want help?
no subject
[ Her automatic response is not to accept help from strangers, because she's sure they'll hurt her. But she's trying to get better at it... ]
... What is your name?
no subject
no subject
[ After a moment of hesitation, Guriko slowly lifts her good hand up, directed towards Gale. ]
Would Gale help Guriko up?
no subject
There is a clinic where your injuries can be tended to.
