◆ oo1; EYEBALL ●
Who: Guriko and you!
When: Afternoon (slightly backdated because I took forever with this...)
Where: The Plaza
Status: Open
Style: [ this one!!!! ]
[ It's very possible to miss Guriko when she arrives in Vatheon, since she is a very small girl curled in the fetal position and placed in a relatively well-hid place--that is, a small shadowy corner in the large Plaza.
She also isn't moving. At all.
A close eye might catch the fact that there are scratches and bite marks all along her body--her arm in a sling and bandages around her neck and chest. Obviously in pretty bad shape, and not breathing.
Dead? Not quite.
In a couple minutes, Guriko's big red eyes open up wide, and she looks around at her surroundings with some sort of incredible fear. After a moment she relaxes, slumping against the corner she hid in. With a little trouble she stands, and starts limping to the coral.
Help a girl out? ]

Guriko couldn't ever annoy Tiir, however, so he instead smiles at her action.]
It's not your fault. And even besides that, you came back. That's all that matters now.

[ She pulls away from his shoulder, a little red in the cheeks. Suffice to say, she is very happy to see him alive and well. ]

[Gently letting her down in front of the coral now! His smile dims.]
... Though I'd rather see you also well and unharmed. What happened?
no subject
[ She really doesn't want to tell him, but it's also Tiir, so she can't lie. He'll know right away. ]
Guriko and Rinnie got eaten alive. It was... unpleasant.
[ She shakes her head. ]
Don't worry.
[1/2] WELP
Have a look of complete and utter shock and grief on Tiir's face.]
W-What!?
[How does he not worry over the fact that she died?]
[2/2]
Guriko, I... I'm sorry. But it's all right to be sad, you know. You don't have to pretend...
oh whoops 1/2
[ Guriko jumps at his reaction, stilling. It's a little... weird hearing she died, maybe, but she'd come back.
Obviously. He knew that.
She pats his back at little awkwardly, before it hits her, kind of like a billion mile per hour train.
He doesn't know that. The one time she explained her whole being to him, was something he didn't remember.
Putting her hand directly on his shoulders, she shoves him back, before pressing them to either side of his cheeks. ]

[ Her look grows very serious, before she sighs, removing a hand from his cheek to run through her hair. ]
It is a very long story, which Guriko promises to tell Tiir-nii in less tense times.
All that is important right now, however, is this: Guriko is immortal. Every time you kill her, she will come back to life. You could tear her apart, limb of limb, and all the pieces would meet up again. You could burn her up in a fire, and the ashes would all reform into her.
Guriko is sorry. She... never mentioned something so important to Tiir-nii.
[ Now she looks very sad. ]

[He blinks at her explanation, not quite registering it immediately. It takes a few moments, as his mind tries to understand—
Guriko is immortal. The hows or whys or whats don't matter, though. She's someone precious to him—that's what does. And so, the important thing here is...
She isn't dead. Not permanently, at least.
Relief breaks out in his face, as he smiles—before it takes on a sad notch, as he holds her again.]
You don't need to apologize for anything, Guriko.
[He should be, for making her say that. For making her look so sad.]
And... I'm still sorry. You shouldn't have had to go through something like that.
no subject
[ But this time she doesn't push him away, and instead brings him in closer, tucking her head into the crook of his shoulder. ]
Don't be sorry Tiir-nii. Guriko has died a number of times. It's something she's quite used to, unfortunately.
[ That is meant to be reassuring— ]

sob Guriko your life.]
Even so... you shouldn't have to suffer like that. Again and again...
[Death is death, even if not permanent. If Guriko won't be sad for herself, then Tiir will just have to be sad for the both of them.
He reaches up with one hand to stroke her hair.]
Promise me—even if you're immortal, you won't be careless with your life.
no subject
Guriko isn't. She doesn't enjoy dying. Though sometimes—
[ —she wishes it were permanent.
But of course she can't say that, because it will only make Tiir feel worse. It's not that she hates life, but one thousand years of it feels a little... exaggerated. It's sad. But she wouldn't force her situation on anyone, which is why she takes the burden on herself.]
Never mind. [ Guriko reaches behind and touches the coral, instantly feeling a lot better. ]
See? Everything is fine!

Still, he knows that there's no point in pressing the matter further. Not now.
And so, he manages a smile, as he lets go and stands up, before offering a hand to her.]
Well, now that you've returned, we should do something to celebrate. What do you think?
