Some one's smiling face hidden deep inside...
Who: A bored, sleeping demon in a park and YOU. Yes you. You over there, too.
Where: The park
When: Afternoon
Style: Anything, you choose. :3
[It was weird to stare up and realize that wasn't sky above everyone that lived in the city. It was water, held back by... whatever force kept them from getting crushed. Rin didn't fully understand it and he really didn't try to. He just found himself staring at it often, especially during the times when he had nothing better to do.
With Zelda in a coma, his training was on hold. And he had no plans to cook with Italy for the day. So he was left to his own devices again. Thankfully this didn't usually spell trouble for him in Vatheon - unlike back home, before he got in to True Cross and began his exorcist training, where an idle day often ended in a fight for him.
Hell, even when he was actually working he usually found some way to get in to trouble.
But things were different in that city under the sea, and while Rin wouldn't complain about the lack of people who wanted to deck him in the face so much as look at him, he still wasn't entirely sure what to do with himself. Cooking and training were fine, when the people that helped with that were around to actually do it, but curses and random comas kept it from being consistent.
He wondered what Yukio would have been up to there, if he would have an easier time adjusting to Vatheon, or if it would be just as disconcerting and difficult for him. Of course he had no way of knowing the answers to those things, and the coral didn't seem to want to give Rin anyone he knew from his world save for Shura for the short time she had been there.]
Tch. Damn coral...
[A lazy but frustrated sigh escaped the half demon, and he let his eyes close, tail draping lazily across his stomach and arms behind his head. He didn't mean to fall asleep, but soon enough he was snoozing away and snoring quietly.]

I see. [He can't say he's terribly surprised.] Then you definitely need ones who'll get you out of it.

They got pretty good at it, back home. Always tellin' me "Okumura, stop goin' off on your own and playing hero!". Hell, got me punched once or twice, too.

[Well, at least he knows his faults? He's fully aware he's done some pretty bone headed things in the past.]
no subject
Well, at least you admit it.

[shrug]
They can take it or leave it.
no subject
[And one Perrin would have preferred to take.]

[And "suspicious" is putting it lightly.]
no subject
[still not sure what this has to do with him being honest]
no subject
Being honest about who you are doesn't always help that.
no subject
[Damn...]
Yeah I can see how that could be a problem...
[Admitting you're a demon outright just because you're in a new place that doesn't deal with the Vatican doesn't mean everyone's going to be accepting of it.]
Everyone's been cool about it so far, but...
[But it could be.]
no subject
Well, things seem different here. With so many different worlds, it's harder to judge.
[Not that Perrin's taken it as an opportunity to be any more open.]
no subject
[he stops, realizing that Perrin has no idea what he's going on about. He actually didn't mention it because Perrin didn't ask.]
Er... about me being a half demon, I mean...
no subject
Demon?
no subject
[he stops, the corrects himself]
People back home are scared of it.
no subject
[It's obviously a rough explanation, but it's enough of one, especially considering Perrin isn't offering any of his own. The way Rin describes it, he supposes it's a bit like being a male channeler back home.]
You don't seem like anything to be scared of.
no subject
I can be...
[He lets out a huff, chest rising and falling sharply with it, and something of a scowl finally settles on his lips with it.]
I'm tryin' to control it. My power is my power and not anyone elses', yehknow? But... it ain't easy, especially when I've only been at it a year.
no subject
Do you have a teacher?
no subject
Er... kinda. I had a teacher back home, Shura, who was helpin' me with it. She's not here though, so Zelda is trying to pick up where she left off but...
[he turns the fidgeting to his hair now, scratching at his neck]
She's kinda flyin' blind.
no subject
But it probably isn't any substitute for having a.. demon to teach you.
[Just as for him, there could be no substitute for Hopper. His expression is sad for a moment; he misses the wolf.]
no subject
[Even if he thinks she's related to one sometimes. Damn woman.]
But she still knew what she was doin' so... I guess there's that...
