Fai was heading to the shops to spend the day relaxing. The past couple days he had woken up in the morning feeling a little under the weather, which was rather odd for the upbeat vampire. He didn't think much about it, figuring it might be a trick of the bubble. If it could turn people into strange creatures, it also could have the power to make a vampire feel ill.

After moving around for awhile, he would feel slightly better. That day he had decided to finally venture out and get some lunch. But as he traveled that feeling of weakness washed over him again. He reached out and placed his hand against the side of the building he was next to as he tried to wait it out.

"I wonder if I've been pushing myself to do too much lately.." As he stood there a slow realization hit him. There was one activity he had not done recently that was vital to his continued survival.

"I can't just do that..I need..maybe the store.." He knew there was other vampires in this world and that they had managed to survive using other means. It was something he should have thought about before that point but Fai wasn't filled with any sort of blood lust. He was still getting used to the fact he had to survive with out Kurogane around. He didn't want to have to drink the blood of others unless it was absolutely necessary. But now he knew why he felt rundown. It had become necessary.

He turned towards the direction he knew a store was at, but it wasn't going to happen. His legs buckled and he fell forward.

I'm really not sure if I should... [Thinks about Tsuzuki and how he might react if he knew he fed his blood to Fai...]

Then again, I don't want you get weaker...

[Fai rests his head back against the building again.] I'm not going to die..not yet anyway. I can wait a few more days if that is what I have to do to find someone. I'm not going to force this on anyone.

I will offer if you can't find anyone to feed you. [Surely Tsuzuki would forgive him that.]

[behind_my_smile]

[He nods and slowly starts to push himself back up, his legs still rather unsteady but sitting has helped some of the light-headedness.] Thank you, Tatsumi-san.

You're welcome, Fai-san. Will you be alright?

[behind_my_smile]

[A soft short weak little laugh leaves him and he finds that for once, he just doesn't have the energy to smile and lie to himself and others. That's quite a change for him.]

I honestly don't know...I hope so.

[He wonders to himself if this will be the world where he gets that former wish of his granted. But to die in a world where death means nothing. It seems almost too cruel.]

Should I help you on your way to Johnny-san's place? [If he can at least do that for you.]

[Fai brings up the communication device.] I'm not sure it would be nice to just drop in and ask to be fed..

I'm sorry, my friend. I thought you had asked him already.

[behind_my_smile]

[He shakes his head.] Not recently..It's alright. Maybe I'll get lucky and he'll be home..[Although Fai's luck has never been terribly good.]

I... I see...

[behind_my_smile]

Don't worry, Tatsumi-san. [Fai finally offers him a smile, albeit a rather weak one considering his current strength level.]

I can handle something like this.

[Sighs.]

Alright, Fai-san. But do let me know if you need help, alright?

[behind_my_smile]

[Fai really just wants a nap, but he has a feeling that would be a really terrible idea right now.]

[He nods and looks down at the device, wondering if he should call Johnny..]
