[ there are a few things break most certainly likes— tea and sugar are very high on the list, so it isn't unusual for him to be near the premises of your local, favorite underwater café.
of course, today he brought his binoculars along— people watching is fun, alright. yes, he is that lonely and strange of a man. as outlandish and noticeable as he usually is, given his flamboyant nature, he's actually rather reserved and unnoticeable today— unless he should choose not to be.
like right now, as he spots a familiar face— ]
Oh, my! If it isn't Miss Kyouko! [ he calls in her direction, rather obnoxiously. ]

WHY DO I ALWAYS BREAK THINGS WHEN I'M TAGGING YOU
She probably should've known better than to get too comfortable without talking to this irritating man.]
And it's you. [No names, she doesn't really have that much respect for him.
or anyone, really] What do you want now?i can make a bad pun here but i'm just gonna say IT KEEPS HAPPENING also 1/3 i think
never get comfortable kyouko because yeah. yeah.
maybe you're mad. ]
Oh, come now! [ a wave of the hand. ] I simply wanted to speak to the girl I'm so desperately in love with.

ALSO BAD LYING AT THAT, EXCUSE ME, HE USUALLY TELLS EXCELLENT LIES WHAT IS THIS...
VATHEON??
PLEASE. ]
#GOOD RPING also done
[
[ YEAH OKAY HE CAN ROLL WITH THIS I GUESS— have a smile and a shrug, kyouko. ]
FLGKHDFGH CRIES 1/2
Oh.
.............
WHAT?!]

[Okay, okay, calm down Kyouko--
--nope not happening.]
Are you on somethin'? I thought you were creepy before, but what was that?!
[WOW YOU'RE AN OLD MAN OR SOMETHING. WHAT. EVEN.]
1/2
—If you did, you'd also realize I'm quite enamored by little girls, too. Too bad your observational skills continue to remain subpar!
no subject
STAAAAAAAAAP.
although it might be interesting to see her reactions to these very false "confessions", it's a little uncomfortable to say things so forcibly out-of-character. ]
no subject
[UGH. She knows exactly what's going on but yet--
EW EW EW EW EW--]
Isn't that called being a pervert or something?!
1/2
—that I have the mark of an illegal contractor.
no subject
that much was true... WELP, this just became all the more irritating! though thankfully, kyouko probably wouldn't understand a word of that— and once this was all sorted out she most certainly wouldn't be able to differentiate between the true or false.
still...
vatheon, you are beginning to make him quite annoyed. ]
no subject
Welp!! She's confused anyway, and she raises her eyebrow. At least that distracts her from being mad?]
Illegal contractor? What's that mean? You're some kind of perv or something?
[See, she's not going to give that up ever again.]
no subject
he's incredibly hesitant about opening his mouth again, because then he might actually end up telling her the truth instead of any of the excuses he could make up up for saying that—
he's usually rather talkative, as well, so there's also the risk he'll keep talking—
how frustrating. perhaps it's due to his secretive nature in general, especially in regards to that particular topic, but when he opens his mouth this time, he manages to keep it simple— ]
No.
[ honest, as well— if he had tried an excuse or lie, it would've used more words, and, in turn, probably had lead on to revealing something else. ]
1/2
No I'm just rambling I should get to my point. Which is the fact that she's really sideyeing him right about now, unsure of whether she should actually believe all of this. If she did find something to believe, which would it be? As pissed off as she was about the confession, she doubted it was true.
Unless she was wrong and he really was some kind of perv.]
Right, right. At least ya didn't have to steal to keep yourself fed at home.
no subject
Not that she cared, really. She didn't have much to hide, but the fact that she was now unable to control herself made her fists clench. That's the thing she wanted the most, right? Control.
Stupid Vatheon.]
no subject
How disdainful. [ and yet— ] Though I can't help but to respect how you act entirely for yourself.
no subject
She doesn't need comforting. It was a fact of life, right?]
Really now? You just contradicted yourself - I wonder which one is true.
[She's smirking, though. Her stealing food isn't something that she finds depressing, again - it was just the things she had to do to keep alive. Sure, she could've found another way to do things, but that wouldn't have necessarily been her style.
But to hear his words amused her, though.]
no subject
Both! It's such a lowly thing to scrounge like a thieving little rat, but nothing disgusts me more than a person who excuses the means to an end for "someone else's" sake.
[ he sports a rather pleased grin directly after his words— how amusing, to confess something you had an intention to say anyway; granted, he hadn't meant to elaborate in the first place, but with these word tricks he couldn't let her think he was pitying her when his insult had gone awry. ]
no subject
[She bit her tongue in that, and crosses her arms as she eyes Break. Well, he seemed like the type to say something like that, which didn't make her really think that it was a lie.
Even so, this was getting to start hitting too close to home.]
At least we agree on somethin'.
no subject
I'm so very glad. [ a truth, but not a forced one this time.
i think i like you. congratulations. ]
no subject
Ya know, you're not bad sometimes.
[She shrugs, and moves to walk off, wanting this conversation to be over with already. But compliments come few and far in between with Kyouko, so Break should be happy about that much.
Or not.]
