His head was pounding as he blinked his eyes open. Oh no, he groaned inwardly, feeling completely drenched. At first he had to wonder if Demyx hit him with some powerful attack that had knocked him out. It was a possibility, given the the fact that much time had clearly passed in the day, all the way to another morning.

However, as he lay on his back, he started to mutter. "Can't believe I..." 'Fell for it' would have been next out of his mouth, but that was how he learned whose voice was coming out. His eyes darted all around, starting to panic.

"... Not again."

He helped Cadence to his feet. "It's fine. I think I can tell the difference between you two now." He grinned a little bit, but then thought of something he should mention.

"There's a curse going on now, by the way. Power swaps again."

"Oh. So that's why..." He gestured to the keyblade. "I guess I should consider myself luck the coral didn't slap that on me too, huh?"

"Of course I'd rather have that if I could just get my own face back." An interesting notion for the replica - at first he'd been convinced it was someone else's that he'd stolen yet again.

"Yep. It's not as bad as it could have been."

Yeah that... was going to be a problem. "Any ideas on why you've switched back?"

"None at all, except... for why I died in the first place." Like Riku, he suspected Katsu would understand. "I think it was like a present that I ruined, tainted, something. It doesn't feel like I can be that person again."

More specifically, that he had a right or reason to do so.

He reaches out, putting a hand on Caden's shoulder.

"You can be whoever you want to be. And if you need help, I can be there for you to lean on for as long as possible."

Caden nodded, then closed his eyes and sighed - trying to concentrate. He did his best to remember what he used to look like, all of the little intricacies.

Unfortunately, half of his time was spent comparing what was different about him with Riku's face versus 'Caden.' What happened was that when he finally activated Zexion's powers in an attempt to at least wear a new face again instead of Riku's, what he got wasn't "Caden." It was close, but not quite.

His hair was a darker blond now, almost auburn color. His eyes were blue. He was thinner, lacking muscle mass to throw any power behind his keyblade. And something about him was off, just enough, for him to look up at Katsu balefully.

"It didn't work, did it?"

Katsu shook his head. "Not quite. Your hair's darker and you're thinner. I mean... uh... you don't look bad or anything, but it's not like it was before."

He squeezes the other's shoulder in an attempt to be encouraging.

"Of course. That would have been too easy, huh? I'm not even positive how it worked out last time. I just know Kouki and N were there." He looked a little saddened by the realization that maybe if N wasn't there anymore, maybe he couldn't return to that form.

"Riku's going to be disappointed with me." Not angry, but bummed out surely. They'd both thought they were past this. It was also half an apology, along the lines of 'if you have to deal with the fallout of it I'm sorry in advance.'
