[As requested, Equius slinks off to find Gamzee. That was a pretty embarrassing confession he just vomited out, and he really just wants to go out in the backyard and brood with the chocobos for awhile. Buuuuuut then he'd just have to talk about it later.]

[His life is suffering.]

[He finds Gamzee in their room, and stands in the doorway, leaning against the doorframe and looking nervous and impossibly uncomfortable. Also sweaty.]

[Equius stirs a little, looking up at Gamzee.]

I was scared because of something I didn't want. You're scared because of something you do.

{Gamzee tightens his arms around him a bit.]

It don't really matter, right? You were scared of some shit and we all like... fuckin' got to workin' on it and dealing with that. We can do the same with this.

[As best he can, Equius snuggles down into Gamzee's chest.]

Sometimes I can't believe how lucky I am that you put up with me.

[Gamzee laughs, pressing a kiss to his hair.]

Me putting up with you? Ha, more like you all putting up with me. I'm a pretty fucked up motherfucker for all I done.

[Equius will deny that to his grave! ~~he kind of already did, haha... ha.~~]

[Equius snugs a little closer.]

[Gamzee smiles a bit, reaching up to toy with Equius' hair a bit. They hadda get this all in the open. It worked better that way. Wataru had taught him he couldn't expect him to be his moirail if he kept secrets from him, and he figures a matespritship is that same way.]

I'm like... I'm guessing I'm all kinda got my fright on for what you be fuckin' packing, but like... I ain't sure I wouldn't all not be frightening if it weren't as motherfuckin' huge. All this shit is just... it's in tents, yeah?

[There. have a cheesy pun to lighten the mood.]

[Motherfucking huge. Gamzee thinks he's motherfucking huge. Equius can't help but smile a little at that.]

Yeah, I know. It... it kind of scares me too. I'm afraid I might... that I might break you if we tried anything now.

[Well, he is!]

You always freak about that. About not all being able to touch me. But see, you're up and touchin' me now, ain't you?

This isn't the same. I'm just leaning on you right now, not... touching you. I'm not trying to do... stuff... to you.

[What kind of stuff, he's not really sure. He just knows that it would be far more complicated than the simple closeness he's doing now.]

[His expression is a little dreamy as if he is jut barely there to remembering something important.]

[Equius sighs, looking a little wistful.]

That'd be nice, wouldn't it? If you could get STRONG too so it wouldn't be such an issue.

I wish you could.

[Gamzee leans back, quiet for a few moments before he suddenly remembers. He struggles to sit upright underneath Equius' weigh, nearly smacking him in the face with one of his skin-and-bones elbows.]

Wait. Fuck. Lemme up. I remember some thing.

Huh? Oh... yeah, okay.

[Equius rolls away, freeing Gamzee, and then lays on his back, staring moodily up at the ceiling.]

[Gamzee gets up and trudges away without another word. It doesn't take him long; he only went across the hall to his and Wataru's old bedroom. It's easier to keep real important things in there. That door is usually shut after all, which prevents any accidental Darkleer Damage.

The chocobo, not the ancestor.

When he returns though, he's holding a little vial between his fingers. Lily was the best. The best.]

[Equius glances over, and he recognizes that vial. He sits up with a jolt, a wide, helpless grin spreading across his face.]

Lily made some for you too?

[Lily is the best human sister person!]

[Gamzee blinks in surprise, looking at the vial.]

You all fuckin' got the down low on what this is?

[Let's not get into how he knows about it.]

Drink it! Drink it, drink it, drink it! I'm going to touch you, I'm going to hold you, it's going to be the most amazing thing I've ever experienced!

Hahaha, hold your fuckin' hoofbeasts, babe.

[Gamzee sits down on the edge of the bed again, clumsily uncorking the vial before he tips it back all in one go. The taste doesn't bother him. He's drank weirder stuff, really.]

[Equius leans in, not even bothering to hide the anticipation on his face.]

Is it working yet?

[Gamzee blinks, staring down at his own hands, still holding the vial in one hand. He doesn't feel different. Warm, kinda. But not different. How is her going to know if this is--

then the vial snaps in his fingers, crushed in his suddenly STRONG hand.]

[... yep. It's working.]

Did you hurt your hand?

[Equius reaches out, in theory to take Gamzee's hand and investigate it for splinters of glass, but really, he just wants to touch him. He does so tentatively, hesitantly, his fingers just brushing over Gamzee's forearm, and he looks into his matesprit's face for verification. Did that hurt? Is this okay?]

[Gamzee shakes his hand, brushing away the splinters of glass. A few pin-pricks of indigo bead his skin where his skin was cut but all in all it is not that terrible.]

I'm fine.

And... and I'm not hurting you?

[Equius knows Lily's potions work, he's experienced them with both his human sister and with Karkat, but he still needs that verification that he's not hurting Gamzee.]

I can touch you, and it's okay?

[He slowly slides his hand up Gamzee's arm.]
