Sebastian! Where are you? Look at the state of me. I got my new dress all wet. Fetch me some new garments.

[She was just in a fight moments ago. One last blow and she would have won. But before she could've delivered her coup de grâce, a force had pulled her back and blacked her out. When she came to, she was alone, dripping wet and in a place she didn't know]

Did I get kidnapped again? Father would be most displeased. I must find my way back. Sebastian! Where are you?!

[She was never without her butler. Though she did all the fighting, Sebastian was always there to tell her how proud he is of her or how fine a young lady she's turning up to be. Now without him, Lili felt... vulnerable... helpless...small]

Sebastian, you dolt. It's almost teatime and you're not here...

[She let out a long sigh before proceeding to scan the area and was pleased to find she wasn't truly alone. People! She brushed her clothes with her hand, fixed her hair and tried to appear the most presentable she could manage. When she was satisfied, she approached the nearest passerby and asked.]

Hello. I seem to have misplaced my servant. Where might I find another one?

It's- okay. I'm just not used to people being so... [What word can he even use to describe this girl? She's kind of bizarre.] ...expressive.

[Her vivacity practically emanating an aura, Lili said all of this with flamboyant hand gestures and almost a song in her voice. After snapping out of her happy place, she turns again to her bewildered companion.]

Who organized all of this, though? Why are you here? Are you here to fight as well?

[Roxas just shakes his head.]

No one- really knows why we're here. Just that we are, and we don't know how to get back.

[Not that he seems particularly concerned about that last part.]

Is it because no one has won the tournament yet?

That must be the reason. No one has been victorious yet. Well, aren't we lucky? I will win this tournament for us. Come, Roxas. Clearly we have to get ready soon.

Quick, we must find a battle outfit for me and something for you that will complement my look.

I don't think that's it...

[Not that he thinks she'll listen at this point. Is she really going to try to dress him up? He shakes his head again and starts for a shop along the plaza.]

I don't know about- 'battle outfits,' but this place has clothes. You can at least get something dry.

Oh but we must. I insist. When you're with someone as radiant as I am, you have to match my brilliance, lest you get overshadowed. And we don't want the cute face of my bound champion in hiding, now do we?

[She was positively spirited. She was like a child allowed to play with the family dog for the first time. All the possibilities of things to do and battles to fight raced across her mind that sometimes what he said barely registered.]

We must pick something that will make us look like a pair (with me looking better, of course.) I'm so glad that we almost look alike. You could be my brother!! That means we can wear the same colors. How about this? It's white. It will make us both look regal. Oh! This is a lovely shade of blue. It will go nicely with our golden hair...

[All I can say is dun dun duuuuuun...]

[Cute?] What's a bound champion?

[Whatever it is, he's pretty sure he never agreed to it. He's going to have to warn Ven and Sora about this girl, because who knows what she'd do if she found out about his face-twins.

He sticks his hands in his pockets so it's not possible for him to take anything she might shove his way.]

I'm- fine with what I've got, really.

Are you sure? Well, that's a shame, then.

[Her gaze dropped to the floor in dismay. This only lasted for a few seconds though]

Oh well, that means I don't have to share the glory. A bound champion is someone who fights alongside someone else. Kind of like a tag partner. When one loses, the other one too. Same thing with winning.

... It would've been fun though...

[Sigh]

Well, no matter. You probably couldn't keep up anyway. So, here...

[Her eyes had those sparkles again. And in her hand was a butler outfit she managed to find in the racks.]

Maybe you'd like to be my butler instead?

[And in that moment, everyone knew her noblewoman laugh was about to come up any second now]

[Roxas has his doubts about that 'keeping up' remark. He hasn't seen her fight, of course, but he knows he's good.

He'll keep that to himself, though. He doesn't enjoy it anywhere near as much as she apparently does.]

...I thought I told you I'd make a pretty terrible servant.

Well, perhaps you will change your mind...

[Fighting stance]

...when I best you in battle.

[Lili wasn't infuriated at all. She was just itching for this all day. Something to calm her nerves. Something to keep her mind off of her missing butler and her being lost in a place she doesn't know. All she wanted was a good clean fight to blow off some steam. Besides, she's fought with the best. Only weeks ago, she took down the incarnation of ultimate evil the shape of a demon dog 10 times her size. That gave her enough confidence to win any fight. More than enough to challenge most people.]

Hey, hold on a second.

[Wait, so now he has to fight her to avoid becoming her butler? As unpredictable as she's been so far, he has no idea how she'll react if he beats her, but he doesn't think that'll be positive either.

He takes a couple steps back, raising his palms.]

I don't really wanna fight, okay?

Then, all you have to do is wear the uniform.

[Lili smirked. She's enjoying this. His reluctance to fight is exciting her. It's either he lets himself be forced to a corner or he gives in to the fight. Maybe she should hold back. She was just having too much fun, toying with him.]

Better hurry up. It's almost time for tea.

Tea?

I'm not wearing any uniform.

[You know, aside from his Organization coat, even if he doesn't have that on right now. Roxas is contemplating a third option known as Run Away.]

[Lili let the air of tension settle between the two of them for a moment.]

Stubborn one, aren't you?...

[She could've gone. In his current hesitance, he has left a lot of openings. A swift Dendrobium to the chest. An overhead Sunflower Lance. Rush in and grab him - perform a Lafreshia to end it quick. But looking at that frustrated face, most likely wondering whether he should fight back or not, made her drop her shoulders and laugh. Not even her pretentious laugh. It was full, hearty laugh.]

I'm sorry. I couldn't resist. But your face is just.... HAHAHAHA... [She dabs at a tear]

I really just wanted to see you in the butler uniform.

...

No matter. I'll just take one of these dresses for now. All I really need now is a place to lay my head and rest.

[She then went to the counter, apologized for the ruckus and worked out a mode of payment. Normally that really would have ended up in a fight. A slugfest. An all-out brawl. She didn't care if he turned out to be better or had some tricks she's never encountered before. If it's a fight, she wants in. But she also realized that she was new in this place. And she was alone. There was no point in making rivals or enemies now when there's no one with you in your home fort. She was about to leave the store when she turned and smiled back at Roxas.]

(ooc: Oops, sorry if I sounded like I was limiting your choices. I was voicing out Lili's thoughts and in her head, no one is ever supposed to run away from a fight. Sorry, again T^T. But yes, she really is this random. Almost everything with her leads into a fight, friendly or not.)

[Roxas relaxes. That was close. He seems to have avoided a fight for now, but he's coming to understand that 'for now' is probably the extent of it. Sooner or later--and probably sooner--she's going to pick another fight.

He cautiously slips his hands back into his pockets, hanging back as she goes up to "pay" for the dress, probably discovering that.. she doesn't have to.]

Um. Yeah.

[He'll just show her where she can find a place to stay and then he'll have a solid excuse to leave. She'll want to rest and all.]

((No worries! I figured that was just how she was thinking. =3))

[She was glad. No matter how weird things got, this was the closest thing she's gotten to making her first friend here in this new place. She would have to tell Sebastian all about it later. He will be so proud of her.]

Well, now that I think about it, that shop lady was so kind she didn't let me pay for anything. You can help me carry things now!

Oh, wait here, Roxas! I'll take everything!!

[A reluctant and cautious friend, but she hasn't done anything to really alienate him so far.]

Wha- everything?

[He'll just be eternally bewildered by her behavior. What is she going to do with everything? It can't all fit her. Half of it's for guys! She's kidding, right?]

Yes, you see, if everything is free and available, why not seize the opportunity to its fullest?

Also, it saves me the hassle of having to browse and choose in public.

[Her laugh again]

I'm so brilliant.

I don't think we can carry the entire store.

[Lili let that last comment hang in the air for a minute before she dropped her magnanimous pose and slumped into a crouch.]

You're just jealous I came up with the idea first.

[Roxas actually glances down at himself.]

But I have clothes.

[For someone used to wearing the same uniform day in and day out, owning two pairs of pants is a serious step up in wardrobe. He may be jealous of a lot of things, but her idea not so much. Sorry.]

But you don't understand, Roxas. We need more than clothes. We need outfits. Appearance is vital to any battle strategy.

Why, wars were never won by people in rags and slippers. They were always decked with their finest. We must be dress to impress, to intimidate, to kill.

[Roxas would point out that he's not wearing rags and slippers either, but then she might critique his decidedly casual attire and try to get him into something else, like that butler uniform again.]

I don't really wanna kill anyone with my outfit.

Why don't you just pick out some stuff you like for now? You can always come back.

[Come on, common sense. She must have some somewhere.]

[She crossed her arms, defeated and pouting.]

But only because I don't want it anymore.

[She rushes him the opposite direction of the store, probably just to save face, but she will never admit that.]

[... She's like a kid.

He follows her out at a more leisurely pace.]
