Four in the afternoon. Time to open. Otoha makes sure the door to his room is closed and locked, and heads over to flip the sign on the front door to 'open'. Business has still been slow, but it's something to do at least. He heads behind the counter, sitting down and checking to make sure his sword is in grabbing range before cracking open a book.

Maybe someone would come in today. Hopefully.

It's likely it doesn't exist any more.

[Serph doesn't sound too bothered by it. They kind of blew it up... after most of it had been deleted. He's just concerned about what will happen if he's sent back to it... There's no point worrying over something he has no control over, though.]

But it was a land of rain and endless war.

[Serph takes a swig of his drink.]

[There's really not much else he can say about it. He's no good at comforting people.]

[Serph finishes his drink before he shakes his head. It's fine. He doesn't need comfort.]

We're seeking another land, anyway.

[He lets out a small breath, an almost half-laugh, before holding out his glass for another refill. At this rate, Serph will finish the entire bottle if Otoha doesn't drink more.]

Vatheon is an improvement.

[He pours him another glass, and one for himself.]

I'm glad to hear it. It seems like there's a good number of people here that's true for.

[Serph gives a nod in thanks before taking the glass. The alcohol doesn't seem to have much effect on him.]

Is that the case for you?

[Though he had spoken favourably of Shinjuku, that doesn't necessarily mean he'd prefer Shinjuku over Vatheon.]

... I don't know. I miss Shinjuku a lot, but I have a lot more freedom here. So it's hard to say.

[Serph nods, accepting that. He can understand that the choices are not as clear cut for everyone else as it is for him. He takes another drink from his glass allowing a moment of silence before he speaks again.]

Is this [he gestures to the bar] something you also did in Shinjuku?

[Or did Yosuke only have time to pick it up in Vatheon?]
